Horrendous...don't even know where to start... DON'T LET YOUR DOG SWIM THERE!!!! It opens at 8 am and even though you don't see a lot of cars it is crowded bcs one person can bring more than 3 dogs (which is against the rules), some dogs are not that friendly. The water that looks so nice on the pics is filthy..my dog went in there after seeing anothe dog doing it and I had to give her a good bath bcs I was afraid she could catch an infection. Even after the bath she stinks... don't know what I will go. More dirt than grass. As in every place, some people do not pick up after their dogs. Not a lot of space to run or play since the "water" takes up more of the large dogs park ( the small dogs park is just a small strip). Parking is limited. Good things: A lot of trees (shadow), benches, picnic tables, water fountain, and a hose. I don't mean to be ungrateful but the park needs maintanence and enforcing of the rules... my main concern is...
Read more-SHORT AND SIMPLE REVIEW- (Warning below) Wonderful Park! 2 different sides for different size dogs! If your dog is under 20 pounds, it's a small gated area just for them so big dogs don't get near them besides smelling through the gate!
!!EXTRA!! 4 star is mainly because they didn't add a dog water fountain on the small dog side so you will not be able to give your dog water unless you brought your own! As well as...

All though the small dog side is reasonable size and safe, there is one part of it that can be dangerous for super small dogs (maybe 4-6 week olds under 3 LT.) as across the patio sitting area is a green bench. Under that green bench is a loose part of the fence that some small dogs could get through if not watched carefully!! This happened to my puppy but he got his head stuck and I easily helped him before a big dog on the other side...
Read moreUpdated 8/21/18 This park has been back open for most of the the Summer. Love this place.
Closed until further notice due to Irma, but only spot that says it is a sign on the gate... Frustrated on 10/15/17
Great spot to bring the dog and family. Parking is limited; but multiple entry points help that (neighborhood behind and us1). Dogs can swim, play in shallows, or walk around the sidewalk w owner. Not a lot of open and flat chase/fetch space. However, the park is geared well for water lovers. Nice natural shade, resting benches, tables, and pavilions. Planning to spend more time here as a regular. Would be cool to know when more dogs are around usually. Plenty of spots to post something like that... maybe it is posted and I just...
