El Car Wash - Palmetto Bay — Local services in Palmetto Bay

El Car Wash had a special offer. Their “El Best” car wash for $19.95 per month for three months. I was told to cancel during the third month, so it would not automatically renew with a higher price. I went online and canceled three weeks before it was due to expire, and I was supposed to get that same service through the end of my three month period that I had paid for. When I went to cancel online I got a notice saying are you sure? They wanted to know why I told them online I do not use it enough. Then they offered me to continue the same service for $25 a month for the future. So I agreed all online. But guess what you don’t get the same service! you get their basic car wash for $25 a month which is no great deal that’s the normal price. Today I went to take advantage of the last week or two of my service, and I was only getting the El Basic Car Wash not the El Best car wash that I had actually signed up for. It’s a shame because the car wash yourself is actually very good. But I feel I was cheated out of about 2 1/2 weeks of the El Best car wash that I was entitled to (and had paid for). After posting this previous review, managemtook our comments into consideration and the machines have been slowed down. Thank you . The cars are coming out much much better. Previous review has been updated to 4 stars.. In the last 3-4 weeks I have noticed how fast the cars are getting through the machine. I finally questioned an employee because my car came out almost as dirty as it went in. It is a shame that these employees have to try to justify management's poor decision to speed up the machine. I have 3 accounts at El Car Wash. I will give it until the end of the month to see if things improve. If not, I will have to cancel ny accounts. The employees, both, tried to have me rewash my car. They tried their hardest to make things right, but the bottom line is the cars are going too fast through the machine and the cars are staying dirty and super wet. This is hands down the worst el car wash location, vacuum always with issues if you find a spot, since it’s full of ones that doesn’t pay the membership. Car goes faster when on the rails than other locations. This is the only one location without buff and dry. Their blowers SUCK so much that you will have half of the car wet at the end of wash. Half of their vacuums are not working properly. And I can keep going on and on…. Try any other location and you will see. If this will be the only location I will cancel my membership right away. I’m about 7 min to this location but of course have to drive 10 min more to the Pinecrest’s location if I want a much better wash.
