Dos Ruedas Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Good breakfast was my post years ago. Since then my overall opinion of this establishment has declined. Unfortunately experienced the worst customer service this AM after working a night shift. All I intended to do there was order an inexpensive breakfast and then go back home to sleep. I was getting called pet names by the staff even after I introduced myself. They looked at me and assumed I couldn't speak/understand any Spanish. I felt really discriminated against. The owner sided with the employees and even some of the guests added their two cents without knowing exactly what really happened. I ended up leaving. The manager told me that if I wanted better service that I could go eat at McDonald’s. Why would you even suggest eating at another restaurant to your customer?! She found it hard to believe that I had two unprofessional encounters with her waitresses. Probably thought I was trying to get a discount or a free meal. I even still offered to pay even after she refused to service me and professionally resolve/de-escalate the experience. It's sad to live in a neighborhood all your life and have unprofessionalism nearby your home. The encounter was so horrible that I filed a formal complaint against the business. There are other Cuban restaurants where the food is just as good and the customer will be shown respect. Safe to say not only did they lose my business, but my family and anyone I decided to share this...

This place comes of racist to me. Went there and all the waitress just looked at me and never acknowledged my presence to even say give us a min and we will be with you. A gentleman and another lady who were waiting also asked me how long I been waiting because they notice how the waitress were just looking but not offering me any assistance or acknowledgement. The gentleman who happened to speak Spanish had to tell them hey can we get some service here and that they could at least say hi give us a sec and we will be with you and after doing so one of the waitress decided to assist him first still not acknowledging my presence although I was standing right next to the gentleman. The gentleman was like no she is first, she has been waiting for a long time. I became too uncomfortable as far as having doubts about if it's even safe to eat the food after the horrible customer service so I decided to leave. I felt like because I was African American they refuse to service me cause why else would I get treated like that. They jump to help the guy first although I was the only customer at the counter waiting to have my order taken. I...

Im so embarrassed to say..but my husband and i have been eating here off and on for about 1yr. We come for the great hot meals, but encounter nothing but RACISM. We wait a while for our order to be taken...our server never refills our waters or asks us for refills. Her being busy is never the case as she promptly replenishes "other" customers waters etc. We arent offered bread like the other tables beside us... We have to ask for it. I am 100% latina and my husband and i have been married 7 yrs, he is almost fluent. It is so discouraging to bring my husband to a spanish restaurant and to be abandoned and disrespected in such a matter is dispicable. My husband less than 15 mins ago ordered a beef soup for me...and they gave us chicken soup with 2 riny pieces of beef... The broth had no flavour... They didnt even bother heating it up. Im so digusted. They will never have our service again. I dont even want to give...
