Arctic Training Center — Attraction in Palos Township

My twins were 3 when they started martial arts . We did 4 different schools. We had coaches who gave daily “participation” stripes, coaches who coached with fear and intimidation, coaches who had 6 year olds walking around wearing black belts, coaches with extremely big egos that should never have been allowed coaching kids. Coaches who sat in a chair and had zero help on the mats and zero control of their class eye gouging and disrespect across the unmanaged mat. My kids were about 4 when we first met coach Dania and we couldn’t have been happier but she soon left and as soon as we realized she wasn’t coming back we left too as the owner of that school was nut job. We moved and as luck would have it we are back with the coach who made me believe in the fact there are still great coaches and jiu jitsu schools out there yep we are back with Coach Dania and her awesome husband and team of coaches!! We were so excited to learn she had her own jiu jitsu school. If your new to jiu jitsu look at your school and coaches sit in on a few classes do the coaches have control of the mats? Do the coaches show respect to the students do the students show respect? Are they teaching the same old moves every single week or do they change it up to continue skill building. Are they just teaching submissions but no techniques? If your reading this long review take it from me and our experiences and know that here at Arctic Training Center your kids even yourself will find the skills, techniques, respect, new skills being taught all time!!! I have been training with Dania for 2½ years and she is an amazing personal trainer! Dania’s expertise has chiseled my body into a stronger and leaner me. I first found Dania when I was competing in a three-month fitness challenge. I was totally out of shape at the time and with her patience, encouragement, and strategic workouts, I lost one-third of my body fat, lost weight and built muscle at the same time. I took 1st place at my gym and with Dania’s personalized workouts, I have been able to maintain that high level of fitness ever since. Dania incorporates weight training, cardio and everything in-between to create a one-hour personalized workout that is tailored for my fitness goals. Her workouts are always different, never boring or repetitive, and the hour goes by quickly. If you are looking for a personal trainer who is knowledgeable, non-judgmental, who will teach you the proper form so that you get the most out of your workouts, and who is motivating and will push you when you need it, you found your trainer! I cannot say enough great things about Dania and Arctic Training Center. Dania is a phenomenal personal trainer. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE!!! AND I LOVE WORKING WITH EMILY!!!! MOST OF MY LIFE I HAVE HATED WORKING OUT AND IT WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH TRYING TO GET MYSELF TO GO! I GO ONCE A WEEK AND I AM EXCITED TO GO. SOMETHING I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO NOW!!! I HAVE SO MUCH WITH EMILY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE WORK OUT!!! WORKING OUT HAS NEVER BEEN SO MUCH FUN!!! 100% WORTH EVERY PENNY! THAT'S THE OTHER THING, VERY REASONABLE!!! IT'S AN HOUR DRIVE FOR ME ONE WAY JUST TO GO. IT IS THE ONE AND ONLY DRAW BACK, BUT THE DRIVE DOESN'T BOTHER ME AT ALL!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY AND WORTH EVERY SINGLE MILE OF EVERY SINGLE TRAFFIC CONGESTED COMMUTE!!!!
