Audubon Nature Preserve Doctor's Pond Boardwalk — Attraction in Panama City

You'll notice a theme here. People will complain about homeless people here yet no documented crimes. Homeless are not dangerous. They have bigger problems than to worry about you & definitely aren't going to assault you to bring attention to the one nice area they have to live in.

As for the trash. That's going to happen in any wooded area in which is populated by many & the city doesn't maintain properly.

So when you go, say hello to the homeless. Maybe even setup a drop zone for food. (Panera Bread throws out ALL their bread at the end of the day). I would rather this go to use & deliver it to the homeless to use. This makes a good location to do so. Setup an arrangement with other restaurants to do this in exchange for the homeless to keep the area clean for free. Food for trash pickup. Then the city doesn't have to pay to clean it & it can be used for all.

This is just the little boardwalk behind Walmart. If you ever drive down the road between the hospital and Wally World it’s maybe a 100ft boardwalk with a little quarter mile trail from the woods back to the road. This is a short, beautiful nature walk perfect for the person looking to stretch their legs on their lunch break or get into nature without delving into into the woods.
