We wanted to check out this new business so we went for the first time today for lunch. I'm putting in this review what I would've liked to know prior to my visit. There were 2 of us. We walked in to a counter with a sign that read, "Please wait to be seated" which was surprising as this is just fast food burgers/wings. We were seated and given a menu. There was nothing on the table except for a bottle of ketchup and napkins. No eating utensils as you would typically have in a restaurant with waitstaff. We looked at our menus. The food was very pricy. We ordered 1 original fatboy burger (most basic offering), which came with fries, lettuce, tomato, and onion on the burger), and 6 wings, which came with 6 thin 3.5 inch strips of carrot/celery with ranch. No drinks. We placed our order with the waitress. The atmosphere is very uncomfortable as there are staff members standing around looking like they don't want to be there and this horrible missmatched music playing in the background that made us feel like we were at the Gap. The staff weren't unfriendly, but were very dry and short. We got our food and were shocked. Our waitress never brought any flatware. The wings were small, but good (garlic parmesan). The burger and fries were a disappointment, especially with the restaurant name and the advertisment photos. The burger was small and maybe 1/4 inch thick. No fat boy there. We laughed that we were even asked how we wanted our burger cooked because the meat was so thin, you couldn't get any pink on it, if you wanted it. It should be called a slim boy. Nothing special about the burger. There was a very thin, wet piece of tomato, a pickle, and a very small piece of lettuce. The burger seemed cold and the bread was like it was just pulled from the bag from the frige. No butter, not grilled, not warm, just plain. No condiments on the burger, and only ketchup on the table. The basic burger and small amount of fries with no drink was $13.99. After tax and the 3% charge for paying with a credit card, 1 basic burger with fries, and 6 wings we spent $27.79 cents. The establishment was clean and pleasant, but it was trying to be a service resturant with a fast food setting. The vibe is very tricky and confusing. It was just off. There was no need for us to have anyone seat us, take our order table side, or bring us our food. There is a counter when you go in where we expected to order and pick up our food. The food is too expensive for what you get and the mood was nothing to look forward to doing again. We will not be back or will not recommend this dining experience. If you go, you'll be left wondering "Where's the Beef!" and likely still be hungry when you leave. That's to bad for...

Fat Boys is an absolute gem! I had heard about this place from a resident at my community, but I initially thought it might be biased. However, after speaking with her manager and deciding to visit on a Friday dinner date with my husband, I can confidently say it was the best decision!
I tried the Lulu Hawaiian burger, and I can't emphasize enough how amazing it was. My husband went for the I Love Bacon burger, which was packed with flavor and seasoned to perfection. Both burgers were top-notch; if you're looking for quality, this is the place to go! The fries were fantastic, too. Even as someone who isn't a teriyaki sauce fan, I found their teriyaki sauce to be delicious. And the garlic Parmesan fries? Off the charts!
The atmosphere is perfect for a casual dinner date. Our server, Ashley, was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and provided excellent suggestions. The staff was polite, and the manager, Mr. Díaz, personally came to our table to ensure everything was perfect. It's this level of customer service that makes Fat Boys stand out!
I can't recommend this place enough! It’s a must-visit in Panama City, and I look forward to returning with my husband to try their wings. Oh, and don’t forget to try their zucchini, fries 🍟 they're awesome!

Read moreI hate being a Karen but tonight at FatBoys in Panama City:
We were promptly seated then waited for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The waitress Lakiesha took our drink order: two sodas and a milkshake.
We ordered the cheese triangles as an appetizer and it came out before our drinks. The marinara sauce was cold, She never came back to offer plates, refill drinks, or just to see if we needed anything. Then came back with the food which was already cold before it got to us.
She stood by the kitchen door almost the entire time talking to other employees. We could see her through the windows, She was blatantly ignoring us and was extremely rude. Never once did she come back to check on us.
Then we waited about 20 more minutes before I had to get up and go the front by kitchen and ask her for my check. For the prices there, the service should at least be good. They did offer a 25% off the bill but when the food is cold, the service was extremely horrible, at least one meal taken off. You could tell the server clearly did not want to serve us.
I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, If I could give it less than zero...
