Spooktacular Festival — Attraction in Paradise Valley

I’ve been attending the Balloon Spooktacular since 2015, and unfortunately, the customer experience has been trending in the wrong direction year over year. Ticket prices have consistently increased, yet the overall value proposition has declined.

This year’s operational execution was especially disappointing. Event staff were uncharacteristically discourteous — conducting intrusive bag checks that went well beyond reasonable safety protocol and scrutinizing our belongings as we packed up to leave. It created an atmosphere that felt more like airport security than a family-friendly community event.

Amazing balloons! got there at 5pm and got to see them setting them up, they stuck to their schedule and all balloons lighted up at 7pm.
