All-American Park — Attraction in Paramount

All American was one of my children's favorite parks when they were little ones now they are grown adults and parents their selves this part meant a lot to us as they were growing up because they used to get wet all the time during the summer there and they got time to spend with their grandmother was no longer with us so this park is very sentimental to us and now I get to take my grandchildren there and they love it they love rolling down the Hills although it has changed over the years a lot there's a lot of new toys and now there's exercise equipment for those who want to exercise there's a big big sidewalks where the kids and adults can walk grown-ups want to walk so they can lose help with their weight loss or just to walk to help with their health in general it's a great place to walk and it's a great to have family gatherings picnics parties break pinata soccer games baseball games whatever you choose to do it's a lot of fun in this parking lot of good memories in that part for us and it made means a lot to me that it's still there so I can take my grandchildren there so I hope people it's funny there's houses all around that Park and I've never seen people come out of their doors just to go to that Park you know people go far away to still enjoy your Park but they don't know what they have in front of them so I hope that park is there from using using using years to come and that it never goes away I know it gets flooded during The Reign season but I just wish that I my pictures are scattered everywhere so I could put pictures on my on there but I know my children but my children will get go crazy if I put my their pictures of them when they were small so just knowing that that Park will be there for generations to come for the new kids and that's sports activities that are there so happy New Year and people if you live in that Park if you go to that Park it's just over the 105 and Paramount Boulevard Hideaway it's in between Downey Avenue and Paramount there's a little corner barber shop for my little brother's used to get their haircut it's hidden but it's there when I was little that used to be my elementary school but now it's a park so enjoy...

It's a cool little park if you have got older kids, but taking my 2 year old was kind of stressful. A lot of older kids playing pretty rough and not paying much attention too anything (or anyone) at all, and some mild swearing which my daughter picked up immediately after hearing. Basically, just kids playing really. In the late morning or early afternoon, the park is much less crowded and the kids tend to be toddler age so it's a much safer environment for little ones around this time. No need to be a helicopter. Why 3 stars? The play equipment is in need of some maintenance. One of the steps on the bigger slide tower has rusted and detached from the step above it, and eventually somebody is going to either fall through or get their for stuck and likely cut with rusted steel. Its a pretty crucial area that's damaged, and frankly pretty dangerous to leave in disrepair, which leads me to believe that the city of Paramount hasn't inspected the equipment at this park in quite a long time. At least I hope that nobody saw that and decided doing nothing was the best...

This park is nice, it’s below street level so it’s kinda like you’re in a bowl, but easy access in or out, there is a parking lot where you can leave your car and entrance leads to the basketball courts, there is bathrooms only open during park hours, also there is a big grass field, usually people playing soccer there. There is a nice work out area I personally really like, there are several different machines, designed for all major muscle groups, the interesting thing about the machines is that there is no electrical or otherwise, they are just bars with seats and when you sit, you use your own body weight to perform the exercises, I think it’s really good for people looking to start a work out routine and get into the rhythm of working out, also kid friendly! There are pull up bars and dip bars and a kid playing area with slides and all, it’s right next to the workout area, so you can watch your kids play while you do a few sets of body weight exercises!
