👎👎Clearly this is not an isolated problem or a one off as you can see, by readying many other negative reviews listed below. 110% waste of time and money. Do not go here. I made a horrible costly mistake coming to German Auto Center off Paramount Blvd in Downey borderline Paramount City.. I'm a huge supporter of small business but wow what a complete lack of care for the customer here. The owner will rob you blind and expect you to pay hundreds of dollars for a job they could not complete. I even tried working a middle ground with him but if you don't pay him what he demands he will hold your car hostage In the middle of his shop. He will fight and insult you for a few bucks.Their is zero customer service here none at all. They will blame you why they can't get the job done. As professional advertising in European cars especially BMW (huge logo painted outside.) You would think they would know what they are doing, Sady not true. Even thought he could not get that problem fixed I would have gladly came back for other problems in the future but greed is more important than getting happy customer back. I'm sure the only business here is getting what you can out of new customers because I can't see anyone being happy enough to return here. It's assam a businesses can treat someone so poorly. If you hate wasting good hard earned money on absolutely nothing than do not come here, simple continue your search elsewhere. I warn you stay away...

I brought my Audi here because of the dashboard signal of over heating due to a possible leak. The owner suggested a tear down to seek what the potential problem was and quoted me $500. Before agreeing to the tear down he never mentioned it will be an additional charge for reassembly if I opted out on the repairs. We both agreed the tear down would be done only and we will speak about the repairs after. After the tear down he quoted me a price that was more than he had mentioned. I refused the repairs and he informed me that he needed to speak to his mechanic about the reassembly charge. I was very disappointed in how he never cared to mentioned this important hidden fee and detail. If he had I would have never agreed to the teardown. Nevertheless I had to have my car towed from the shop due to it being non operating. According to the tow truck driver and my brother the engine parts were shoved in my trunk and backseat due to this negligence and lack of communication. Now I am taking it to a new mechanic and hoping all the parts are accounted for ti reassemble. In a nutshell, I drove my car to this shop, payed $500 to get it torn apart and not drivable. FRAUD ALERT - I took my car to get fixed, never happened, instead , my car was towed from this very same location. The owner will put your car outside and collect tickets from the street sweeping. He lost my car to the tow truck because he would never keep it inside the lot (how it’s supposed to). Now he said it’s my fault it got taken away under his custody. Will proceed with a complaint to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs before taking it to Small Claims court. Owner does not want to admit he messed up bad by leaving it outside and tries to flip it on me. Don’t use this shop. They will break your car and say you need a “new engine” altogether.
