Bergen Town Center — Attraction in Paramus

Amazing compared to what it used to be. Much more stores and places to eat. I had a great time and they even have a Target and food market. I grew up 2 blocks away and still live in the same place and if anyone saw what it used to be they would call it the worst mall in New Jersey because they had value city where the target was, grappling machines where most of the stands are in the tye middle of the isles and a small village mall which sometimes had 1 to 2 stores open one of which was a store that only sold magic the gathering card game and you would always feel left out or invisible going into this small store with most of the people playing magic the gathering on this big table. If you wanted to learn how to play they literally just ignored you. All the great stores they have now they didnt have except for the comic book store with the nicest men working there and explained everything to you. They drove it out by raising the rent on the owner and i know cause I do his landscaping and he tells my uncle whose my boss for landscaping everything. The poor guy was running the shop and taking care of his mother at the same time. He moved the shop to the part of maywood NJ right down the streets from the mall and they did the same thing and he was getting old. He had grey hair when i was 8 years old and now im 30 i can't even imagine how old he is now. He sold me my very first comic books my dad bought me which were my favorite ever since i first read Captain America comic books. I went from the names z through a and I'll never forget the first time i laid my eyes on Captain America a 1st issue ( not the original or very first one but a remake or whatever) he was one of the very few superheroes i could relate to. Blonde hair , blue eyes, patriotic and used to be skinny like me. He even gave us alot of discounts even a good deal on the very first issue of thor the original one! I fell in love with superheroes after that and now i have rare comics on the wall in my comic book corner and a long white box filled with all types of comics i even sold some that went up in price a few years ago. Also that Ultra store and those others in the back of the parking lot weren't there before like it was literally just a parking lot till they built those there i dont even remember when but it feels like they were built recently cause I've been letting the world pass me by living in the past for over a decade. I was in the hospital for just a few days and all of a sudden everything changed like new buildings and stores everywhere. However the mall did make some amazing changes otherwise. Its nice to see the world improving now that my ex fiancee saved me from the dark and grabbed me out of the past i was living in, i missed my past so much, high school I was a state sectional champion in track just like my dad was and he was a great coach and all my coaches were great so i thought i was happy knowing i already became the best of the best of something in this world. Then i lived in this cave i call a home and after years i finally leave the house and this mall i live 2 blocks away from all of a sudden has so many new stores i felt like i took a time machine into the future. Sorry to write so much, it's just amazing how this mall went from this ruggedy old crust into a sparkling diamond. Last but not least, just stay away from the yogurt machine because when I paid $5 for it, it literally only filled up half the cup and i think it was even less than half. I posted a picture of it. Anyway i truly hope everyone can enjoy this mall and have a good time as i have and appreciate everything this mall has done to change into this magnificent place to go to, happy...

Typical Outlet, but my very 1st. Time @ REI! Amazing experience, staff experience and helpful in every area of the store. Dennis a avid hiker & experience snow hiker as well as a runner. Helped me from A-Z with my purchase of hiking equipment.. Steven 1of the manager's greeted me @ the front outside & paired me with Dennis. A very lovely, & nice young lady Helped me in the boot department, Dennis paired me with her for that. Her name was Lura, or Lola if I'm remembering correctly 😉🤗🤔 SORRY LADY L! She was experience & extremely helpful, as well as awesome to look @😜😉😊.. Briefly met Phyllis with Dennis, we had some laughs 😄. Then last but never the least, was Al @ check out. Made sure I had a tally of what I was spending, set up my membership, & finally my discount off the one full priced REI item.. Man, have to say other than spending so much 💵💵💸💸💰💰💳💲.. I had an amazing time in the store looking at everything, gathering all sorts of new information.. Kudos to all the staff that work here, it seems so family centered staff wise.
