Ok so I ordered my furniture & it was supposed to be delivered last Tuesday. I got an email & text confirming everything was on the truck. It was supposed to be delivered between 8-10. I checked & the tracking said 1 stop away at 8:15am. I received a call at 9:15 am that the bed wasn’t on the truck. So now that I’ve taken time off work & no bed, they want to schedule another day to come for the bed. Yet the CSR cannot explain why the email & text said everything was on the truck, next stop ready for delivery. I called my neighbor to come & wait so I could go to work. I get to work & check the tracking & the delivery was CANCELLED!!! I never cancelled anything!!! So I call the store in Paramus & speak to the Assistant Manager which I have no idea of knowing if she is who she says she is & explain. She said she will call me back. I waited 6 hours for that call back, obviously no delivery ever came & I was told they can’t but me back on a delivery until 9/19. I am livid that there’s such a lack of communication for such a large company! When I called back the woman whom also said she’s an Assist Manager, told me Melissa is too busy but she can help me. I explained the situation again & the woman said ok so next Tuesday is the earliest we can deliver. I said no thanks cancel my order! The next morning I get a call from one of their warehouses saying we’d like to schedule your delivery. I understand that we couldn’t find your house yesterday… I was like wait now it’s that you couldn’t find my house!?!? I explained I cancelled the delivery bc I cancelled the order! I said why am I going to pay for delivery when your company wants to lie & deliver it wherever you want? He said oh so you want a refund for the delivery? Just complete incompetence from the delivery company! Basically it was delivered last Friday bc they put a special request in if it wasn’t delivered Friday am, cancel the order. I took additional time off & they did come within the time frame & everything was perfect until I got home from work & the headboard lightening no longer worked! So I called & they scheduled a tech to come out to see if they can fix it. The tech came today & nope I need a new headboard!! So I call about the refund & they tell me they won’t issue it until the headboard is replaced!!! What a terrible company!!! At some point I even spoke to the manager at the Paramus store & he said I’ll call you back Saturday to issue the refund… he didn’t even call me back bc he probably looked it up & said oh no another issue!!! Yes the furniture is decent quality for the price but the cost is your aggravation with the lack of people caring what someone has to go through besides all the lies! Read morePLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE ! I was stuck with defective love seat and couch. Upon completion of delivery, I saw the damages and immediately called the truck delivery drivers. They explained to me that I need to contact customer service. I called and told me to speak with the a manager of the store. I waited until they opened and went to the store to speak of the damaged items I received on august 5th. I was told that I need to wait 24 hours for someone to call me. A week went by and no one called me. The manager Carlos told me it can sometimes take 48 hours because if the COVID situation. I think it was more than 48 hours, if I had to wait a week. Since no one called me I had to call customer service and was told that no one from the store had put an initial claim on. I called a couple of times to the store and the store manager is somehow unavailable to talk on the phone. I speak with customer service again and was told that a repair technician needs to come to look at the items. I waited another week!! After his review he completely noticed the defective items in my home and and he spoke with customer service. After his investigation, I spoke with customer service and was told that they were going to replace it with brand new ones. I immediately asked for a refund. They explained to me they can not issue a refund. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they offer me store credit. His computer somehow fails and can not issue the store credit. I wait a few days to call back and the other supervisor tells me they are not the ones to issue a refund and they can not refund me because I accepted the furniture into my home and waited a week to call customer service to file a claim.
DO NOT SHOP HERE ! All they care about is selling and don’t care about their furniture once it elands their showcase. I am still stuck with these couches for almost a month ! I will be filing a complaint with BBB and corporate. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE OF DEFECTIVE ITEMS, GO...
Read moreI wish there was a zero star button ….. the only person who deserves a star in my opinion is Sulieman ( I hope I spelled it right, sorry if I didn’t my man) . Me , my wife and my baby were in the store for an hour and all I saw were the salesman looking at us as if we’re going to steal something based on how we looked. We both wore sweats because we were in a rush and my wife is in her third trimester so she deserves to be comfy! After almost an hour of comparing new couches to our current one no one even bothered to say hello! We walked to different sections and still not even a WAIVE! Little did anyone know our last two apartments have been fully furnished by Bob’s Furniture, with some of their most popular/commercial items and we were card holders!!!!
While we looked around for some new additions for our apartment every sales person ignored us and only went to families who they thought “were for sure purchases”. Being in the sales industry myself I understand how valuable time a salesman’s time is but not even a check in or a waive hello is ridiculous and insulting. Then finally Sulie said hello to us when he came back from his break. If it wasn’t for how nice Sulie from the moment we met him I would’ve urged my wife to just buy everything online out of spite.
If and I emphasize IF I were to ever go back to this location I will only and always ask for Sulie. Bob’s has always been a place where customer service was an initiative but not here at this location. I highly recommend everyone get a training and to never do that again because you NEVER KNOW who’s going to make a purchase, especially if you don’t even talk to them.
