LA Bella Roma Pizzeria — Restaurant in Paramus

Me & my family order from this establishment often during the week... before leaving out to work I'll stop by for a quick bite...I've been coming here for the past 4 years faithfully... I ordered a chicken vodka slice & a soda on Friday afternoon... sometimes if not so crowded I sit down and eat my meal and whatever leftover I don't finish goes in a bag for later... as I'm eating my food the owner decides to rudely interrupt me and says loudly "Hey sir why are you eating here when the order is to go" I was so shocked and caught off guard by this man.. he then loudly says "were trying to conserve here" The ladies eating at the table next to me were also surprised on how this man was talking to me... after explaining to him that I planned on saving some food for later that's why the bag was needed... I had to walk out after being belittled to the point where I was in a uncomfortable setting .... this business lost a well paying customer over a. .05 cent brown bag that I was planning on using... I will gladly take my money...

Second time i’ve been back here since the new ownership and I think people are reacting angrily when the pizzeria is busy and off their game. it takes a couple years to get your feet under you, and always remember that most people leave reviews when they’re mad rather than when they’re satisfied. That being said, pizza was good, cheese was very chewy but the crust was perfect. mozzarella sticks were delicious but the price for them was outrageous. The sauce was also great. It took only about 30 minutes for my order to be delivered. The pizzeria does feel less like a “neighborhood” spot now. The employees on the phone were not outwardly kind, yet still provided good customer service. The delivery driver met me with a very happy face and a kind demeanor and that’s more than i can ask for near the end of the night. Place is going downhill. Cooks are getting lazy and cutting too many corners. The Chicken Parm Sandwich I just got tasted like it was made 3 hours prior and barely even warm. Nothing seems like it is made to order anymore, maybe if you eat in idk. Seriously stop pre-cooking your chicken cutlets, they're nasty and dry.

Ordered a pie few weeks ago and could tell it was one of the counter slice pizzas, reheated with some toppings thrown on it. Two of the slices weren't even from the same pizza and had different crusts! What a joke!

Call me crazy, but if I'm gonna pay $25 for a pizza I expect it to be made fresh. Not some Frankenstein pie of whatever old crap you got left. FYI it's obvious when cheese has been cooked twice.
