I’m going to start off by saying that I truly never give a bad review, but instead try to discuss with management. However, my experience with Saloni was absolutely terrible (despite discussing with management)!

Long story short, I purchased a sectional & dining set in September, but they didn’t arrive until January - ok, fine, it’s a pandemic & shipping was delayed - but they never updated me on my order or shipping times unless I called to check in. Then the delivery comes & my couch was the wrong orientation despite discussing it multiple times & my dining bench was the wrong color & made for a bedroom. I will give credit where it’s due though & note that the dining table & chairs are beautiful. Talip reassures me he’ll have the couch & bench remade, that I can keep the other bench for my room & I’ll get a credit for the wrong bench - I’m thinking wow, this is great! Except now it’s May and another 4 months goes by of me chasing him for delivery & status updates & the couch is wrong again!! When I called to tell him, he denied that it was wrong & cancelled my couch order. 8 months later, I’m equally done & said ok just give me my refund. That was a drama in & of itself and took nearly a month, but I finally got my money & returned the couch. Now I’m just waiting on the care & warranty docs from them, but I’m not holding my breath.

As frustrating as the delays & wrong furniture were, the thing that turned me off the most was the lack of service. I would call the store & leave messages, call & text Talip & barely get responses. That is just unacceptable!

After searching for a sofa for almost two years both store and online, as we almost gave up, we happened to find this store in New Jersey during a business trip to NYC. We had a great experience with our sofa order from late Mar 2021, received mid-July 2021. It was delayed a bit from original estimated delivery of late May due to Covid-related supply chain disruptions and shipping disruptions. Through the delays, service was great and someone was always quick to answer the phone during business hours and give us status updates.

Now that we have the sofa we love it. As you can see in the photos it is gorgeous. The microsuede that we chose is very pet-safe and easy to clean (you can just tap the sofa itself to get rid of the hair, also the dog's paws don't leave scratches). The material doesn't feel hot in the summertime weather of the DC-metro. There are an incredible amount of options to chose for fiber selection if you are as picky as we are.

The sofa we chose called Panemera sectional (option 15), with adjustable backing that can pull out (as well as armrests that pull out). It has 12 inches of clearance so a vacuum can easily slide underneath of it. We opted to get something on the firmer-side. The sales person Omar was very patient in helping us choose colors that worked, and also threw in a bunch of pillows. The one downside is that shipping isn't free. But the shipment was white glove and it was delivered with caution and care. This sectional was easily moved up to our second floor despite our narrow twisting stairway, this sofa choice was the best to...

We purchased a second home and bought not one, not two....but FOUR sofas & two ottomans from Saloni, all beautiful, unique custom fabrics and pillow choices, out of a huge amount of selections. While decorating this home, we got a lot of furniture from many furniture stores before we discovered Saloni (Arhaus, Restoration Hardware, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Ethan Allen) amd none of them had as excellent customer service, professionalism or were as timely with delivery (even in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic!) as Saloni. Our salesman, Omer, was a joy to work with from beginning to end and the delivery guys were very pro as well. Most of all, the quality of the furniture is TOP NOTCH and looks a lot more expensive than the price. The uniqueness of the sofas (how the back of the sofa has a mechanism that allows it to lift up and back, basically turning into a large twin bed) is also something that we haven’t seen ANYWHERE else! Bye, bye uncomfortable sleeper sofas. Our overnight guests are enjoying sleeping on these unique sofas/beds so kick more than the traditional sleeper sofas with the uncomfortable springs and rods that stick in your back. Our Saloni sofas are so much more comfy. Our only regret is not finding Saloni before we bought other items from their inferior competition. From now on, when we need anything, we will be going to Saloni first. Very happy...
