DICK'S Sporting Goods — Attraction in Paramus

We went to get soccer cleats. They have sample but no actual shoes. There was no one helping. Later we saw people waiting one person looks like an employee. Yes he eas Dick's employee, who was standing at the back. There was no line so people around him, left, front and right. There was no order and whoever say gets first attention. There was a 6 or 7 year old boy in front of me but he was ignored for a few minutes until I told them he and I were on line. They use a scanner to scan to sneakers or cleats to find out whether they have the right size in stock or not. We brought two models and luckily he said they have it. Then silence. I asked him what is next and he said the guys in the balc will bring it out. Waited about 10 minutes and nothing came out. I asked foe the status and he told me they are still looking. We waited another 5 minutes or so but still nothing. We decided to leave and go to competitor store. There are many people front of me said Dick's sneaker selling process is horrible and some said they will complain to supervisor. We won't go back to get any sneakers from Dick's and try our best to avoid to buy other items...

Went in just to get a pair of sneakers, used the machines they have placed in the areas to put in the make and model of the shoe to have someone bring it to me, waited for 45, asked 4 different people if they could help not a single person came back with the shoe and was very rude when I was asking if I'd be ever seeing the product I wished to purchase. Eventually finally someone helped after asking another worker and once I had gotten the shoe after 45 minute wait time didn't even fit. Poor staff, terrible way of getting people the products that they don't even seem to follow up with to begin with. I will never shop here again. Found exactly what I wanted online in my size and for less money. To anyone who decides to buy shoes just walk up to the person with the shoe and say this is what I want and what size. Personally I wouldn't even bother coming here for shoes. It's an outrage waiting all that time having people be rude to you just for nothing. This is a huge Dick’s store located in Paramus on NJ-17 Northbound. Pretty for all of our sports goods shopping in person, we have to rely on this store. It has sporting goods for almost all popular American sports including fishing, camping, cycles, shoes, apparel, and equipments. It is very clean and tidying always.

Our most recent visit to was to get T-ball bat, helmet, gloves, pants, bags and shoes. We found all items except the shoes. Was really happy with variety of brands, options and sizes that were available. All items were on display within the same area, so it was easy get one item after another. The prices were decent, comparable prices I saw online from places like Amazon.

Multiple associates offered to help. One of them assisted us with getting access to fitting room. When we asked about T-ball shoes, there was a huge confusion among them, the question got relayed between four of associates in three different areas before we found they don’t have it. LOL!!
