Monster Mini Golf Paramus — Hole-In-One for Kid’s Birthday Parties!
My daughter (7) had her birthday party at Monster Mini Golf Paramus and it was fantastic! As a parent, I have been to more kid’s birthday parties than I care to count, and this one was by far the best and the most organized. Everything was well-thought out, especially the small details. For example, soon after all the kids arrive, they sat down for pizza, and feeding kids at the beginning of a party is such a great idea, as you don’t have to worry about anyone getting hangry. Also, it was great how they break up the pizza and cake with an activity. In between eating, the kids go play in the arcade, which works great, as it gives the kids a chance to digest their meal before eating cake.
The staff at Monster Mini Golf Paramus is awesome with kids. The managers on duty were Meghan and Victoria, and the party host was Alex, who was excellent with the kids. Again, it was the little things that they did that made the event so special. For example, while the kids were in the arcade, Meghan made sure all the kids were having fun and engaged. Also, Alex was great at keeping the kids entertained throughout the whole party and guiding everyone from one activity to the next.
What was also great was that at no time did the party feel like an assembly line. Too often at kid’s birthday parties, it feels like they are pushing kids along so they can get them out and start the next party. It was the complete opposite at Monster Mini Golf Paramus, where it felt like everyone genuinely cared about the kids and that they were having fun. At no time did we feel rushed, instead it felt like it was the right time to move things along.
Finally, the best testament to how great the party was, my daughter loved it and all weekend, she kept talking about all the fun things she did at her party. Thank you, Monster Mini Golf Paramus, for the outstanding job and for making so many great memories for my daughter!
If you’re thinking about booking a party at Monster Mini Golf Paramus, do it, you’ll be happy you did!
Highly, Highly...
Read moreCame here to play mini golf and some arcade games. While the games were fun and so was mini golf, the issue is with the staff and the kind of people that were there, and I'm guessing always do. Staff were very rude and uncaring and unhelpful. Someone was actually smoking the green stuff in there. The whole place completely reeked of it. This place is mainly for kids and this is what goes on in there. No one even cared, staff did nothing.
Besides that, pretty much every adult in the place was horrible and rude. People kept walking by and pushing without saying excuse me. Some guy was playing air hockey and lifted his leg and kicked me. Didn't even turn around to say sorry. But what took the cake (besides the stench of green) were the people playing mini golf. The people in front of us dancing and playing around and taking forever to go. But the big problem was behind us. We were playing at a normal pace and had to wait a lot for the people in front. A horrible couple hit us with their golf balls on purpose several times throughout the game. We would turn and look at them and they'd just stare at us. Seemed like they were looking for a fight and we're not like them, so we had to ignore. Who knows what they would've done if we said anything.
Just stay away from this place and definitely don't bring your kids here....
Read moreIf there's anything you don't want to see at a birthday party, it's kids crying. And oh this place provided lots of crying opps for the kids and lots of drive-me-nuts moments for the parents.
We had my 7yo son's birthday party there.
First 30 minutes which they described as "fun games with the host" ended up being "30 minutes waiting for pizza". No games, nothing to keep the kids engaged or entertained, just 15 kids waiting...
Then arcade - fun time, but some kids didn't get any points on their cards, which is fine - when I realized that, I asked the staff to just pretend these kids have 20 points and add it to my bill. Anything to stop the kids from crying, but... they couldn't accommodate this simple wish!! They had to charge me on the spot, separately for each kid, and cashier had a long line, so guess what? Kids cried :(
Then they rushed to clean our room and took away all the toys and candy that the kids just won in the arcade 😡 I get it that they need to clean, but why not ask the kids to pack their stuff and keep in a bag / cabby???
And then minigolf... the highlight of the event and the reason my son chose this place to begin with: hmm we had no time to do that :/
I rarely give bad reviews, but here I just had to warn you all. Don't make...
