My husband and I went to a buffet called Sakura Buffet. We drove all the way there just to try it and see if the food was good.
I’ve been searching for buffet. Some of the places I found had bad reviews, but only one buffet caught my attention because some reviews said the food was delicious and there was a wide variety.
I didn’t hesitate with my husband to go to Sakura Buffet we even drove all the way there. And it was totally worth it! All the food was colorful, visually appealing, and delicious. The waitresses were very responsible; they immediately cleared our plates so our table didn’t get crowded. I can honestly say the food was very tasty.
Their ribs were so tender, and since I love seafood, it was totally worth the price because they had a good selection of seafood. Another thing my husband and I really liked is that all the food was served hot, and they never let a tray go empty the waitresses immediately refilled everything. The restaurant is very well-managed and organized, which is why I gave it 5 stars. It was definitely worth the price my husband paid.
I highly recommend Sakura Buffet...
Read moreWhen you first walk in you expect the place to be really nice after looking at the pictures in the other reviews but when you look around it seems a little dirty and gross and when you look up at the ceiling tiles you see scuff marks and hand prints all over each tile. There was really no service you say a few words to the hostess in the beginning and then you don’t really talk to anyone else. Lastly, the food was very below average Chinese food. I had the general chicken and honey chicken and both of them tasted fishy and mushy, the banana pudding was disgusting, and my wife’s noodles weren’t cooked all of the way it was upsetting my stomach to even look at them. There was no crab legs and the sushi did not look appetizing, the ice cream cooler only had orange sherbet and half of it was empty, There was no drink menu or prices listed anywhere inside of the restaurant that were visible. Who ever runs the review replies only responds to the good reviews and says the same thing every time.
Do not waste your money or time here the only thing I enjoyed were the store bought...
Read moreWe visited Sakura Buffet on their grand opening day around 3pm. The restaurant was very slow and nearly empty, but the food trays were full and visually appealing. Staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was disappointing. Most of the hot dishes were room temperature to cold, and many of the meat options were mushy or bland — even the coconut shrimp. The sushi was just average, though I did enjoy the dumplings which were hot and flavorful. I appreciated seeing raw oysters offered, but in the 45+ minutes we were there, no one touched them, which was concerning. On the positive side, the fruit was fresh and tasty, and I liked that the ice cream was covered and individually portioned. The server was very kind, and I noticed staff were present around the buffet, but I strongly feel the temperatures of hot foods should be checked every 20 minutes. At $20 per person (Sunday dinner pricing all day), this will sadly not be a choice for me or my family...
