Subzi Mandi Farmers Market — Attraction in Parsippany-Troy Hills

Such a worst place and had a bad experience today. I don't recommend my Tamil and telegu friends to this store as you will not get a fair treatment. Racial discrimination by staff. Bad attitude. If you face any issues ask them to talk to you in English not in Hindi or any other language. If they reply you in Hindi ask them to speak in English they know but purposely they will reply you in Hindi. We moved from some other state and we forgot the bring bag concept. One of this staff stopped my wife in front of the outside door and showed her attitude by asking her to transfer the veggies and stuff that we brought by blocking the way and no one was able to go inside or outside to the shop for few mins. She could have let her go and transfer to the car trunk and told her saying next time bring your bag like that. I am saying she did that discrimination purposely as the counter where we did billing we had a different staff and this girl came from some other counter and doing this attitude. Worst behavior no sorry to my wife at all. They should have posted the stroller rules outside facing which might solve the problem. Overall bad experience from staff and no respect to us. No fair treatment.....I...

Every time I visit this store I have a problem at the cashier. Coincidentally, I land up checking out with one of the owners or their family. Ive Ben there only in a pinch over past about 9 years. In the past 3 occasions, over the years, I have always been over charged. Once I realized right after paying and they asked me to take something instead of refunding. Another time it was too late and I realized at home. This time I started bagging my items and noticed had been charged for a bag. The owner who was checking me out ( I recognized her from the past) had said nothing. Upon questioning, the owner said - you didn’t ask, I didn’t tell. You used the bag so I charged you. Sure- I should pay for what I take but it’s only fair to post signs or inform your customers It’s the same way of charging customers for sugar or sweetener with their coffee and then telling them only if they ask after reviewing the bill. Dunkin Donuts right next door to this place would become rich if they charged for all the sugar and creamer with the coffee!!!

I’m sure between the sleazy approach of overcharging unassuming patrons and not being transparent the owners will get rich. Good thing Parsipany has more...

*Taking off 3stars out from the previous review as recently their attitude has changed a lot. They don’t think of you as a customer and behavior has degraded. I took 4 things theother day.. there was only 1 cahsier. I was patiently waiting for my turn in the long line. When my turn came, the lady cashier asked me for the amount but I was momentorily off in my mobile.. She started shouting and telling me that I shld not be on mobile instead always on standby mode depending on their mercy in billing. Shocked by her behavior I asked why they have only 1 cahsier and she simply said me to mind my business. Never going back there ever. Go to “Delight Bazaar” off Rt-46... you will get everything there at lower price and smiling friendly staff. Subzi mandi littleton road sucks!!
