We stopped at Zalim Hot Chicken and Burgers for the first time yesterday (5/23/25) for a late-night take out meal after a long drive from Massachusetts. Zalim’s did not disappoint! Some restaurants can be hit or miss with food and service when it gets close to closing, but not Zalim’s! My boyfriend went in to order and Humzah greeted him professionally and was very kind, courteous, and helped with menu options! All of the food is so fresh and never frozen. (Best French fries I’ve ever had!) We ordered smash burgers, chicken Shawarma w/ rice, and grilled chicken w/rice, hot fried chicken, and drinks. Both chicken dishes came with a small salad, which was refreshing. The chicken was delicious and cooked to perfection! The restaurant is super clean and you can tell Humzah really cares about his business. We frequent this area often for basketball tournaments and we will definitely be back to try some more menu items. Super cool and friendly owner, they have 3 locations and opening a fourth. Burger bun was soft, burger juicy and fresh. Lettuce and tomato were crispy and the sauce had a nice punch. It was served with coleslaw and pickles and a mound of fries. The French fries did require just a little bit longer in the fryer, seasoned great though. The mild Nashville hot chicken was one of the juiciest I've had, the heat was just enough to creep up on you. The zesty sauce was a nice accompaniment to the chicken.
