This branch called me multiple times the day of my reservation (Friday 10/23) to confirm that I would be there to pick it up, apparently it might not be there if I didn’t confirm. Then after I confirmed, they tried to up-sell me to another car for a higher price. I was busy at work and the whole thing was super annoying. When I arrived to pick up the car, one employee was inside the office without a mask, walking right next to me and other customers.
The “luxury” car they gave me had tons of scratches, dents, stains, and smelled like smoke. They also didn’t document any of the existing damage for me like other rental companies do, where you would normally do a walk around with an employee first and they acknowledge the places with any damage. I had to take over 20 photos just to document it all. The car shouldn’t even be in their fleet, let alone in the luxury category. Before leaving I re-entered the office to ask my rental agent to please make a note of the smoke smell, he was like “yeah for sure” but then walked away from the office/computers/iPads so who knows if it ever happened.
After returning the car, it was never checked in- I still don’t have a receipt or my deposit back. I have been trying to call the branch for two days straight and they never answer the phone, which is funny because when I was there before, an employee was actually on the phone just casually joking around with an employee from another branch while customers were waiting in line. Looks like I’ll have to go in person to tell them to wake up and return my deposit, which fortunately will be the last time I ever have to step...
Read moreI had to get a rental car because my car was in an accident, but dealing with the rental car become just as much of a hassle as the accident. When I got in the rental car, I had to point out to the salesperson that there was a light on signaling tire person was low ( aren't they supposed to check these things out and not me). The salesperson said it was fine and was probably because of the cold southern Ca weather we were having. I drove the car to work, and on the way home I had a flat tire to deal with ( same day as the accident). I was not happy. AAA came out and changed my tire, and replaced it with the temporary tire, so I called enterprise telling them I needed a new car. They said I could get one the next day. The next day, I called from work and asked about the car exchange, I was told if I could make it home by 4, they would come and exchange the car for me, so I rushed home and waited, but no one ever showed up. When I called, they said they must have forgot. After finally speaking to the branch manager, I finally got a replacement the day after that, but it was such a pain and I had lost several days which were supposed to be spent looking for a new car from the accident. Very disappointed in the...
Read moreHave used Enterprise off and on for years and always been satisified with their efficient no hassle service...but not this time. First I tried to book online but could not find a suitable car so I called this location directly. Call got picked up by someone with very poor english and after a torturous 15 min call of repeats and clarifications completed the reservation and was told they could pick me up in about an hour. I ubered! When I presented my Paypal co-branded Mastercard they refused it . It is a regular credit card that I have used for years at plenty of national stores and have never had it turned away. Momentarily taken aback I then realized that I had 2 virtual cards in the digital wallet on my Iphone. Not acceptable either! I then offered my Visa debit ..no again and ditto for a visa debit attached to the loc on my home. When I checked their website later most of these should have been totally acceptable. In the end they reluctantly agreed to give me a ride back home to pick up another card ( i brought 2 just in case) and the rental was completed. What should have taken about 20 mins wound up taking around an hour and 20 mins. Very disappointing and quite frankly I found the whole experience...
