This was our reason for visiting Houston and while it was good, it wasn't as informative as I'd hoped. To be fair, my son and I are astronomy fans so we were hoping for more of an in-depth experience. This center's info is pretty introductory and only touches on some technology, space travel, and solar system facts in a playful way.

We took the tram tour of the astronaut training facility which was 100% on point for production value. I thought we'd see where training occurs and maybe it happens here, but my husband and I both were cognizant that this room is set up for tourists. I appreciate the opportunity to go there at all, but my thirst for more wasn't quenched.

All of that being said, this is a wonderful child-focused place for enjoying America's part in space exploration. We absolutely loved the theater presentation about mission control and the astronaut wall! For all of my own feelings of letdown, the other members of our family learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I deeply appreciated the moment of reflection offered in the...

This place was amazing! My dream is to become something in the space field so coming to NASA space center was awesome! They have all kinds of space related things here (Obviously!) but it's just so fascinating to see everything in action. From the NASA astronaut training place and then to the Mission control(Which was terrific Btw) It's really all great. Plus on the day I went it was good weather. They even showed us one of the Saturn rockets which was like the Chery on top of everything. Everything was really great. The only thing though is that the lines for the tours we're pretty long...

There’s a reason NASA is losing the space race to private companies. This center demonstrated the productivity level of their work flow. We waited 3 hrs to get on the tour tram. You’d think it’s just because there’s a lot of visitors. But the most essential reason for holding the line is because they took forever to board us. Boarding the tram takes 15 mins when in fact it should take 5. They have the capacity to board two trams at the same time and they’re only boarding one. I can go on for a long time telling you about how they work....
