Update Tried this place out on the weekend. Sat outside on the second floor patio. The view of the water was really nice and the mac and cheese I ordered, plus my husband's steak (which was a special) was pretty decent. That is all I have to say about this place that will be good. I tried three different white wines and I was not a fan. What I found outrageous however, is that besides bringing out your food, servers do not come to take your order on the patio, even though there are plenty of tables and chairs. My husband constantly had to go to the bar downstairs to order our food and drinks. Ridiculous. Why is that even an issue? Why don't they come take orders and bring us wine?? I just don't understand. They also have Christmas lights hanging all around the patio and you would think this would be a good thing, until you're eating and happen to look up and realize that they're filthy and all completely covered in spider web, and you begin to fear that a giant spider will jump down on you or into your food or wine. They looked like they haven't been cleaned in a very long time. Disgusting!!! Last but not least, there was a large group of people so drunk and loud, basically screaming and cackling the whole time until they finally left, that it completely ruined my already bad mood. Oh and let's not forget the sudden group of what looked like 21 year old kids that came upstairs and became loud and obnoxious. I had such high hopes for this place but it was a huge disappointment. The view is not worth all that we experienced. You should really consider actually cleaning the lights, making your servers take orders on the patio and bring us our drinks, and telling your loud and drunk patrons to control themselves. Maybe then this place would be worth returning to.
I can't review the wine or food or service because we left after walking in and looking around. Honestly it's a really nice looking place and I liked all the wood and lights but it was dead quiet on a Saturday evening. There were people there but no music playing in the background. I was hoping for a romantic night out with my husband, but it was more like a bunch of people at tables talking loudly and that's it. From what I understand there should be live music later on at night? Well I don't want to wait hours for that and I think they should at least play background music while people wait for the live music. Pretty disappointing in that aspect as I was really excited to try this place. Plus, the set up when you first walk in was awkward. There was a huge table and a small table next to it. You sit down and then have someone else right in your face. Downstairs all the tables were taken and upstairs they had a nice room with couches but it was pretty empty and quiet so I might as well save my money at this point and go sit on my own couch at home and play music. Hopefully my suggestion is taken into consideration. We will give it a try another time and I will update my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSteak so tender you can cut it with a spoon. I could tell it had been marinated overnight and slow roasted. I saw the cook pull it out of the oven and cut each piece. Greens were flavored with a red wine glaze. Mash potatoes seasoned with herbs and spices. For the sauce, a red wine vinaigrette....full bodied that outputs pepper and cedar flavors. I found myself dipping my potatoes in it more than the steak. The flavors of both, went well together.
The tone of the venue was that of a upscale saloon. On the bottom floor, it was open, loft style with the bar on one end and piano on the other. The furniture was all wooden. Each member of the staff knew their wine and were very pleasant. Upstairs had a similar setup but without a piano and 2 soft couches. There is an outside patio area as well. Great for watching the sunsets. You can hear the piano and or band throughout the establishment so it just adds to the esthetic.

The atmosphere inside is cozy and inviting while the outdoor seating gives you waterfront views and a beautiful covered patio both upstairs and down for relaxing and great conversations. Ask for Suzanna when you go. She is a great source of knowledge when it comes to the many wines and beers they have in store. The food menu is not huge but they have a good variety. The food offerings are definitely tasty and worth your time! Also they have a great steak night on Sundays. Definitely worth checking out! Oh and if you see the Red Velvet cake, trust me it's HUGE! Highly recommend this little hidden gem! You won't leave...
