I literally just walked out and decided to write this. We went here to pick up the last thing on our school supply list only because Walmart ran out. First, we compared the prices of the EXACT things we just bought at Walmart. Everything was 20-30% more at Office Depot. Thankfully the item we were looking for was on sale for the same price as the other store, but we had to sort through sealed cases and then open them ourselves to get to them. I then got in line to checkout. As soon as the cashier finished with the customer in front of me, she walked away without saying anything. After a few minutes of waiting alone, I walked over to the custom order area where 3 employees were behind the desk. I asked them if someone could help me check out. One answered "I'm checking out THIS guy." He didn't actually answer me so I just went back, grabbed my stuff, and returned to his area and waited. Then he told me I had to wait in a spot that was 2 feet to the left, but nothing was marked. I thought it was weird. After a minute or so, the original cashier woman called me over to yet another desk (back to the spot I just moved over from). When she was about help me, the sales manager (José) pulled her yet again to help him with HIS customer instead. I was puzzled and said, "so we're not checking out yet?" José turned, made a face, and snapped at me, "I'll be with you in a minute!" My husband and I were taken back. Even the other male cashier looked over shocked. A minute or so later, the manager called me over and said, "I TOLD you I'd get to you" to which I responded "thanks, but you didn't need to snap at me." He didn't even apologize or look at me. No smile, nothing. We paid and left. If my child didn't need those stupid composition books, I would have just walked out. My husband said the same and is the one who encouraged me to leave a review. This store cannot provide one day online printing service as offered. You cannot request 1 day printing service and get what you order even if you use the Office Depot online biz card creation software. The Manager at this store was unprofessional & rude. This store doesn't understand printing or color table matching. They cannot match colors created using their online software period. She said they cannot match exact colors as if that was suppose to be acceptable to customers. This store is technically unfit & requires more training. Just because the Manager claimed having been in the printing business for many years, doesn't mean she knew what she was doing or saying. It was not reflected at this store in customer service and quality of printing only excuses to divert customers as acceptable or typical. I advise customers to take your business else where especially if you are a small business and depend on them to provide better service & understanding. America's businesses is made up of millions of small businesses and this company should consider meeting the demands of what drives good business in today's world. As a small business this would put me out of business if I asked my clients to accept this type of behavior and delivery of bad service. Warning! Do not do business with this company and especially this store manager. Hope one day they will understand the depth and errors of their bad customer service and poor product delivery. What I got were 3.7 by 5.7, 5.8 by 7.8, 8.7 x 10.5 ... I tried to tell them in store it was wrong when I noticed one was off, all they could do was print it bigger, and said that was just how the program was. I had people behind me and felt pressured to just grab my photos without measuring the rest of them in-store and having them reprint it over and over. I deeply regret not checking them there when I saw how wrong one was. They're all wrong. Every dimension, every size.
The thing is, I gave them files of the exact dimensions, said which file was what dimension, and told them what I wanted, and they still couldn't do it right. I have a bunch of prints that won't fit frames unless I start cropping off limbs/important parts of the picture in the background.
Also, there's an extra charge to cut them out of the photo paper. Other photo places can just print them on the right paper from the get go, and I could have seen that they were wrong before paying if they were sized incorrectly.
I don't know how I used this place before and got the photos sized okay last time, but I'm not using it again. It's too much of a hassle to go back and try to return all of this, nevermind getting it printed the right size. They said they could print 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, etc, and they did not, and didn't take care to fix it. I'm disappointed when they don't fulfill what they say they'll do, and don't follow through to ensure I got what I came in...
