Korka Comics — Attraction in Pembroke Pines

While on vacation, my wife and I stopped by to check out the inventory. They had a figurine of Hawks from MHA and my little sister just loves him. They only had the display model in the case, but we purchased it anyways. Employee packed everything up and we wrapped it for Christmas. Well, little sister opens it last night and she was very excited. She was having trouble mounting him to his stand when my wife realized that the mounting piece had broken off inside of Hawks. Which means.....the employee who packed it for us noticed it broke during disassembly and did not tell us. Didn't offer to check if a different stand might work or try and fix the one that broke. Not professional and extremely disappointing to find out on Christmas. Would have been nice if he let us know so we could fix it or find a replacement stand instead of giving a broken figure...

Went there to check out the cards there. Pete was very excited to talk about Yugioh and calls himself the Yugioh Master. So much that he kept talking for two hours before I could even buy anything and allow me look at the other binders.

He also doesn't allow customers to talk among each other especially if it's about trading or getting contact info when both aren't paying customers. He doesn't allow you to duel random friendly people unless you buy something or fork over some money. Although this seems logical that the store needs to make money somehow, I believe these tactics are very deterring for me.

I rather go to another card shop for my trading card game needs due to Pete being a waste of my time, overpricing cards by 50-100% of the actual cost and the 2 tactics...

I believe this was a comic book store I used to come to when I was little kid to get pokemon cards, so memories were abundant when I walked around in here. It's a bit of a small comic book store nestled in the corner of the plaza it sets it. It is very clean however and easy to walk around in. Service was a bit quiet but polite an answered any questions to the best of their abilities. The inventory was great, filled with all kinds of comics, manga, anime stuff, and STATUES galore. Had to stop myself from buying something, long story short! That said, give this little shop I try if you have an itch for comics or things related to them! Also there is a small sports card section for those who like them!
