I donāt write negative reviews, but this oneās got me so offended , how cheeky the girl at the front discharged me and taking more money than it should have costed, so I decided to write the review in this case . Terrible experience. Overcharged me for work that is not good for even amateur of hairdressers . We are coming for business to Miami every year . This year we had to stay in a different area and I needed to find a new salon . We had a special event on the day of my appointment ( today) . And I looked online for the closest salon with best reviews . I found Maggie the salon in Pembroke Pines, it looked good online , so I booked my appointment online as my phone line wasnāt working ( overseas number) . Online for what I thought would be the closest for timings - haircut and blow wave . I allocated enough time for the stylist and thought that the time should cover my appointment. Arriving to the salon , my driver took a wrong turn , so I apologised for being late couple minutes . They accepted me and politely told me to wait , offered me a coffee āļø while waiting . I thought it was a nice gesture and a good start . As soon as my stylist took me I explained her what I wanted , that I had an event tonight and wanted my hair to have a bit of volume and curl . I also mentioned that normal blow wave doesnāt with my hair , it simply doesnāt hold , and that she most likely need to use the curler . After she washed my hair she still tried to use the brush and do blow wave - it didnāt work !
So she started using the curler iron. She sprayed my hair with the spray and my curls instantly lost the shape. She then repeated the same steps again and again. For over an hour I wat heād how my hair gets burned with the hot curler iron and sprayed with the hair spray .
Very disappointing to find after 2 hrs and terrible job - that at the reception the girl told me to pay another $48 on top of already paid $50 prior the appointment plus tax . I showed that Iām not happy with that. But none of them wanted to resolve or at least to say Iām sorry .
Walking out feeling like I want to go home wash my hair . I felt angry just wasted my money and burned the hair . Looking terrible for my special night ! Absolutely outrages service ! And no excuses for hairdresser not to understand or cannot work it out , she should know better , I should not be charged for the time that she made mistakes in trying to do the job...

I tried at least 4 times now to have this salon redeem itself after the first mess up ( 2nd and 3rd photo ) were they somehow fried half my head even tho it was supposed to just be a root touch up.
After 2 attempts to correct the color I still have discoloration and damage ( 4th photo ) thatās clearly not gonna get corrected unless I completely cut off my hair and start over. Mind you after the first attempt to correct it I had to pay to continue to fix there mess.
Today I just needed a haircut and defuse so I didnāt have to worry about my curly hair not budging with me the day of my new job. I get told I have to get my defuse done by a tier 1 stylist since I was late to my appointment which is my fault but Iām told she knows what sheās doing with curly hair. She did not and itās not even her fault she was so sweet clearly wanted to do what was right but was not given the right training, the last photo is what my hair turned out like after getting a blow dryer straight to the scalp with no defused tip which all curly haired people know is essential for evenly distributing heat for minimal heat damage. I probably got even more damage done today. Had to cut my hair even shorter after these experiences cause my hair just isnāt bouncing back even after 3 free treatments to āmakeupā for frying my hair.
Iām so done with this salon so sad with what happened to my hair I debate every day just shaving it off and...

That being said my hair service was $250 not cheap, so I was expecting the best from this āhigh-endā salon. For starters my stylist Lola was unprofessional, inattentive and rude and took forever in a day to do my hair even after I clearly expressed my concern for the time and my 9 month old baby that was being watched by my mom, not expecting to be gone for almost 5 hours on a service I have gotten done many times before at high end salons such as this one for much less time and a much better experience, and having said that I received no empathy from this stylist for being concerned about the wait and how you can clearly see on my face I was concerned about being away from my child (who was in good hands but whom Iāve never been away from for that long.) that being said yes I know not everyone is a ābabyā person but clearly this stylist is not human. She clearly didnāt care and I just simply received an āit is what it isā from her. The whole time I was dying to get out of there and wanting to at least settle for the fact that my hair was going to be fabulous. With that being said, sadly it was not. The color was way off what I wanted and asked for, and the blow dry was an hour long process and I do a better job myself. In the end, this is a toxic and pretentious salon in which I had gone once before with a different stylist and had a much better experience but sadly never...
