I came in to the Pembroke location with my Pixel 4xl, which had a battery problem. Ubreakifix told me that Google extended the battery warranty due to battery problems in the Pixel. The employee up front then told me to take off the screen protector which had some cracks in it as this could disqualify from the warranty; meanwhile, the phone was otherwise in very good condition with its original case and screen protector from nearly 2 years ago (photos posted). Upon bringing my phone back the employee told me that his manager told him the phone is disqualified from the warranty due to the cracked screen protector. I tried to point out that being that Google issued an extended warranty on the product, there is clearly a known battery issue with the Pixel phones. So, being that my phone was otherwise in very good condition, I would imagine it was highly unlikely that the screen protector crack was the cause of the battery damage. In which case, if the manager was trying to be helpful, I would imagine he could have likely overlooked the screen protector and asked me to just take it off as if it was turned in without one. However, not only did the manager, Mike, not go above and beyond in his customer service, rather instead he stayed in the back and treated me as if I were issuing a threat, blatantly warning me that if I were to take off the screen protector and bring it into a different location they would catch me with their Nest cameras. Meanwhile, I was only trying to point out that clearly I'm not lying about phone being damaged because otherwise I would simply take the phone into a different location without the screen protector, but as I said I was treated with hostility. The manager, Mike, didn't appear to care about me, the customer, and on top of that was very dismissive. Today I went back in to pick up my phone, I told Mike about my feelings without yelling at him; he told me the scratches on the side of my phone (which are not very apparent) would’ve disqualified my phone anyhow, gave a half-hearted apology and when possible took the chance to retreat again to the back of the store. Interestingly enough, the store has 2 awards for location of the month dating back to July and August 2014. With my experience and with Mike as its manager though perhaps it's easy to see why this feat has yet to be repeated over the last 7 years. Hoping this is helpful to any potential future customers. P.S. update: my phone's camera and flashlight are no longer working since my phone was returned from ubreakifix. Since I did elect to pay for the phone's repair, I would hope that everything would be returned to me in proper working condition..

Paid $500 for a MacBook that had internal screen issues. Took 2 months to repair when initial timeline was as 2 weeks. Same issue reoccurs a couple of months later and company denies the repair stating they do not cover physical damage. There was no physical damage. They state that it is very minuscule I kept asking them to show me the area damaged but they could not truly identify the area. The pictures below demonstrates the area in which they say the physical damage was. Then they offered to repair to at lower cost. $400. So they want me to pay $900 for the same problem I had when I first came in and the service reps finally response was “sounds good” when I told him I would give my online feedback. 1000% disappointed. Zero trust in this company. It’s unfortunate that they take zero responsibility and blame the customers for everything even after paying a hefty cost.

Absolutely terrible store and staff. Fixed a phone through google's warranty, only to have the same issue again 2 months later. I bring it back for their 1-year warranty on repairs. They took out a flashlight to show me tiny, tiny barely visible hair scratches on the screen that would appear from putting it in your pocket a few times and said sorry these void your warranty with us... So you basically don't have a warranty then... This phone is fine except you did a poor job fixing it the first time. Thanks for nothing.

AVOID THIS SPECIFIC BRANCH AT ALL COSTS !

I cannot speak for the whole company of ubreakifix but this one in Pembrooke pines are not fit to be taking apart your precious expensive items, not only will they repair what your original order receipt says your instructing them too, but they will also go ahead with out any order receipt of hard copy of proof to determine that you have agreed to have works done for more than double the price of the original receipt!

You know sometimes you just want your phone back and when put in this kind of situation you make a bad decision for the easiest option to get your phone back and continue with life, but having now felt the full consequences of doing so with Mike Chris and his team at Pembroke pines I am now $280 down with a phone that is now worse off than when it first arrived and they are adamantly refusing to take responsibility, when prior to any work commencing and ordering receipt is made ?

But in this instance no order receipt was made until I arrived to collect my phone having received a brand new camera that I had not requested !

Do not trust this company !

Do not use this companies Google approved as a 100% guarantee that you will receive fair workmanship and warranty and even communication prior to new works being started on your phone because all they want to do is inflate your bill.

My phone went in for a camera glass replacement only ! $120

The total for unapproved with out an order receipt $280

I could have bought my exact phone refurbished and sold the other for less than the works they approved with out any written order payment etc .

Please do watch out for this place the reviews do tell that I am not the first and most definitely won't be the last !

I do not recommend you come here for business while sitting in the place 2 people came in and had issues with works and most just leave pissed off and say they will just buy a new phone and I guess that's exactly the kind of people that they prey on people who won't report to asurion or directly to Google for bad service but not me !

Asurion has taken over a month to even get an update but today after more than an hour talking to Google I finally here from them with an update that guess what.

Completely shafts me and says I oked the works for a new camera!

Where was the order receipt ?

Where was the half payment before works commence ?

AVOID this company at all costs.

Absolutely will pull your pants down and zero accountability zero genuine warranty !

Scammers !

Pixel 7 pro in worse state than before entering this repair shop!

Don't do it ! You will be pissed!

If you are lucky and put in the effort Google will stand by you like they are now having to do with me but it hasn't been easy !

And I don't wish for anyone to get cheated out of there hard earned money and just told your on your own mate !

Mike the manager I hope karma is coming your way bro !

And I hope Chris actually speaks up and tells the truth about what has actually happened here.

Looking forward to the Google investigation !

You definitely should not be an approved by Google representative!

Have...

Title: Exceptional Service and Unbeatable Efficiency

Review by: Brandon

From the moment I stepped into the Ubreak I Fix store in Pembroke Pines, I knew I was in good hands. The store was clean, organized, and full of cutting-edge tech solutions. However, what really set my experience apart was the service provided by the store manager, Samuel.

Responsiveness & Customer Service:

Samuel greeted us with a warm smile and immediately addressed our concerns about my wife's Galaxy S22 Ultra Samsung phone. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the repair process in a way that was easy to understand.

Technical Expertise:

I was amazed at Samuel's technical proficiency. He diagnosed the problem swiftly and provided a straightforward solution. His expertise with Samsung phones made us feel confident that we had chosen the right place for our repair needs.

Speed of Service:

In an era where time is of the essence, Samuel's efficiency was nothing short of remarkable. He managed to fix the phone in under an hour, allowing us to get on with our day without any hassle. This level of service is rare and deserves special recognition.

To say that Samuel went above and beyond would be an understatement. His attention to detail, technical acumen, and speed of service set a high standard for customer satisfaction. I wholeheartedly recommend the Ubreak I Fix store in Pembroke Pines, particularly for anyone fortunate enough to be assisted by Samuel.

If you're in need of tech repair, don't hesitate. Trust your devices with Samuel and the team at Ubreak I Fix in Pembroke Pines. You won't be disappointed.

Feel free to use or adapt this review as you see fit. It's always great to give credit where it's due and I'm sure Samuel and the team would greatly appreciate...
