YOU ASKED, SO HERE GOES.IAD HAD AN ERRAND TO DO YOU ARE 30 MIN FROM ME. AND ALWAYS STOP TO BUY. SPENT $70. GOOD STUFF. OUR SR CENTER HAS COME SEVERAL TIMES AND OUR DIRECTOR HAS COMPLAINED THAT THERE ARE NO SEATS TO TRY ON SHOES UNLESS YOU WAIT IT LINE TO USE DRESSING ROOM. IT I WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE 6 OR 8 CHAIRS FOR PEOPLE WITH SHOPPERS. ESP WHEN NANA IS TRYING TO WATCH THE KIDS OR HUSBAND IS TRYING TO SIT ON THE 8 INCH WINDOW LEDGE WHICH WAS THE CASE TODAY FOR 2 MEN. WE GENERALLY LIKE YOUR PRICES, DO NOT LIKE HOW SOMETHINGS GET MARKED (SOME WOOD, BASKETS, BOXES COVERED WITH ART OR CLOTH & SOME WALL ART. THE PRICE DOES NOT ALWAYS COME OFF EASILY OR WITHOUT LEAVING A ROUGH SPOT, DECORATION. WE PURCHASE THINGS FOR RAFFLE AND BAZAARS AND TODAY THERE WERE 4 PIECES THAT WE PASSED ON FOR THIS REASON ALONE. IN THE PAST WE TOLD CASHIER WE WOULD LIKE TO BUY IF SOMEONE COULD REMOVE THE PRICE. TODAY THE PRICE WAS ON MY SMALL METAL LAMP BASE, I WAS LUCKY IT IS OFF BUT TOOK SEVERAL ATTEMPTS WITH DIFFERENT THINGS. DISH SOAP AND A VERY WELL USED GREEN MESS H SCRUBBY DID THE TRICK, LEAVING A DULL SPOT BUT THE COLOR REMAINED. IF IT BOTHERS ME I WILL SPRAY LIGHTLY WITH CLEAR SPRAY PAINT. LOVE THE NEW DIGITAL SIGNS AND THE TAGS FOR SUN, MON & THURSDAY, ALTHOUGH IF I REMEMBER THAT HAS BEEN THE CASE. THE EMPLOYEES ( ASKED A PRICE, WHERE YARN WOULD BE, CHAIRS FOR SHOES, PRICE FOR 2 ITEMS WITHOUTAND LOOKED AT SEVERAL THINGS IN SHOW CASE WERE HELPFUL & THE CASHIER WRAPPED THINGS...

Update: After reading other recent reviews I feel validated because I have been confused visiting this store the last few times. This is a store I love to stop in every time I'm visiting NJ from Philly, but I'm frustrated. I love the items they have, but prices have gone up. Not only have prices gone up, but they are supposed to (I think?) have sales on the different colored tags... and I literally never know the color that's on sale until I get up to the cash register. I would like to know in advance, not be surprised by nothing being on sale more especially with how expensive the clothes can be sometimes. I also tried to participate in one of their 50% off sales and while they actually had a sign in the store for it, none of the clothing I bought was on sale... even though the sign weirdly said "clothing, shoes, etc." and then cryptically said "exclusions apply"? So everything I bought was an exclusion and I had no idea until I had rang everything up at the register. It was incredibly disappointing. They also took away the changing rooms, so it would be very difficult to buy pants from here.

Awesome thrift store and super well organized. I wish I lived closer to here, but also thankful I don't! They have a lot of variety of home decor and I found some really cute pieces. The clothes are typically older with some really cheap ones from Shein, but there are some great hidden gems. This is definitely one of my top inexpensive thrift stores...

I've shopped here on 3 seperate occasions, twice on weekends, once during the week. All 3 times were pleasant, tho the weekends this place can be a bit of a mad house.

1st time was a week day around Christmas & I was w/ my b'friend. The store was well kept, not TOO many places where things were left in isles or on the floor & dressing room was quick & easy to get in to. I honestly don't recall my 2nd trip! My 3rd trip was a few days ago on a sunday. Parking was plentiful & even had no hard time getting 2 shopping carts (was with a friend). The isles were clear, plenty of staff to keep things neat & since all the clothes are put in color order & seperated by size, finding what I needed was easy. They have great selections & was surprised at how many items were new! I loaded up my cart & waited very briefly for a dressing room. There is a 5 item limit but when the line got long, the attendent let me bring in 10 items to get me out quick! The only thing I can say I'm not thrilled about was the lack of English speaking employees. Given it's location, that is sort of expected but it was still frustrating at times. Tho, I will say, she did point me in direction (literally) of someone who could help & the cashiers were bi-lingual. Other than that, all the staff were friendly & helpful, the store was kept clean as best it could given the sheer volumn of people there & the prices just can not be beat.

Hours are: M- Sat : 0900 - 2100 Sun...

I recently visited 2nd Ave. thrift store and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of finds available, especially for those interested in flipping items for resale. Among the treasures I discovered were a sturdy kids' bookshelf, a complete punchbowl set with 11 cups neatly wrapped inside, and a silver-plated double casserole with lids. These items not only showcased the store's diverse inventory but also its commitment to offering valuable and unique pieces at affordable prices. Overall, my experience was extremely positive, and I highly recommend this thrift store to anyone in search of hidden gems!

This is an extremely well organized store. Clothing and shoes all arranged by size, which makes shopping so much easier. The store is VERY large with a huge selection of everything. Three aisles of books makes it a great place to go if you love reading, but don't want to pay book store prices. They have a decent selection of furniture, as well. Lots of jewelry, too! Prices are typical for a thrift store. They are not trying to be a consignment style store. Reasonable prices with a slight mark up on more valuable brand names and wares. I highly recommend this store for Thrifters!
