This review has nothing with their local walk in store. I was recently selected as a VIP winner and they texted me, informing me to have my FFL send them a copy of their license. I did so but it’s now going on 2 weeks and my FFL hasn’t received my firearm. So after many attempts to contact them via phone calls and emails to ensure they have everything they need, I get nothing. I have received zero replies and zero phone calls back whatsoever. I have been participating in these webinars on and off for 3 years. This is the first time being selected as a VIP and now I’m beginning to doubt the legitimacy of this entire thing. A simple phone call back or reply from one of my numerous emails to set my mind at ease would be appreciated. I really do not like giving out bad reviews, but I live in NC so it’s not like I can show up in person to handle it face to face. The contest rules on the website say I have only 30 days to claim my winnings. Time is ticking by and I am lost on how to proceed. HELP

Update as of 5/6/24. It’s been a month since being selected as a VIP and still no firearm. I have reached out to my local FFL and they ensured me that they have sent them a copy of their license multiple times for transfer. Still no delivery. I received a email advising me of recent staffing issues and asking me if I knew anyone in the area who needed a job. I am trying to be as understanding and patient as I can be. I don’t really understand what the issue could be. I know they have my phone number, I receive frequent text messages advising me of new and discounted webinar’s. My last email sent today I requested a possibility of offering a new FFL if need be. I am waiting on a response. Hopefully this gets resolved because from a consumer’s point of view, they take my money for webinar after webinar but when I do win I get nothing. Completely frustrating!
(The day after leaving this update to my initial review I received an email and a text informing me that my firearm had shipped. This is when I was notified of the mix up with deleted emails)
Update number 2 as of 5/9/24. Finally received my firearm. It took over a month but it did indeed arrive. Received another email with what I believe to be a legit reason for the delay. The email stated that the FFL license from my local dealer had been added to my account and in the confusion the original email had been deleted. Apparently they didn’t know they had what they need all along. Regardless of what the issue was, a simple phone call and/or timely email could have set my mind at ease. At the end of the day I received what I won and I am happy.

Read moreI’ve never written a negative review in my life...until now. Thank you to the person from DLD’s messenger chat, the woman from the shipping department, and the cast member from Duck Dynasty for leading the industry in customer dis-satisfaction.
They refused to ship ammo to my home address because I live in Chicago. So, I provided documentation that I am sworn law enforcement officer and this ammo would be for duty use, however they still refused to ship to my home, or the station that I work at. They mention shipping to an FFL, but that would mean I would have to pay a $60 fee per shipping container!
They are at the stance that there is a local ordinance prohibiting the shipment of ammo to any address in Chicago, but could not cite the ordinance they speak of. The woman from the shipping department wrote in an email to me: “GOOGLE YOUR OWN INFORMATION, Officer.” Very unprofessional and rather childish.
In contrast, I provided the actual ordinance that specifically states that “nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the lawful ACQUISITION or possession of firearms/ammo. MCC 8-20-270.
However, in a world where facts don’t matter, none of the above documentation/evidence was enough to sway the opinions of the staff I was dealing with.
So, I had to drive 3 hours to this paltry gun store to pick up my ammo. The woman from the shipping department told me to come before opening if I wish, since they will be there earlier.
So, as I arrive prior to opening, I call the number several times in order to announce my presence only to get a voicemail.
Luckily, a nice young man was just walking into work and I politely asked if he could let the woman know I was here.
After waiting in my vehicle for someone to let me know I can come in, I observed a man who looks like a cast member from Duck Dynasty begin to yell in a condescending tone, “are you coming in, or are you going to sit in your car all damn day?”
I guess he was mad at me because I gave DLD my business. No worry, I will NEVER spend a penny at this establishment again. And I will be sure to share all of the correspondence and my experience with whomever asks about this awful place. Read moreI've been using DLD for about a year now, specifically the webinars, and have learned a lot from their gun reviews. In case you don't know what exactly this entails, then let me give you a brief summary. DLD offers webinars which are essentially a online classroom that goes over a gun you are interested in gaining knowledge about. You sign up and pick a seat number. Once its filled, they host the webinar. At the end, they will give the item away to a seat holder. I've been selected 4 times. (Colt Python, Ruger Wrangler, CZ Shadow Orange, Springfield XDS mod2). The staff has alway been on point with any questions and quickly ships its products. But what brings me to do this review today is how DLD went the extra step in its customer service. I was looking for a Zastava ZPAPM70, which has been tasking during this time and I asked about their shipment they got in through FB messager. They told me they where out, but if they have one cancel or if they get some more. They would get back to me. Well guess what, they remembered me.
