Camino á Lago Park — Attraction in Peoria

I have been a patron of this park for over 15-16 years, and for the past 3-4 years it's been the go to spot for my daughter and I to go play on the playground, practice whatever she's finding interesting at the moment (5 y/o) and even enjoy a book or two. It's always been well kept and in a "quieter" neighborhood, all the amenities you need to have a fun day out with...

It was fun for the most part...the splash pad area became very slippery while the children were playing, causing many of them to slip and fall - maybe the surface needs something on it to help stop the slippery/slimy affect. Other than that, we enjoyed the park and the movie...

Very crowded. It would be nice if you could go into the library, get a book, and sit outside to read. The library was closed, there was too much traffic coming through either for Covid testing/shots. The is a need for benches and shade. The park could also use an...
