I just received quite possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever received in my time going to restaurants.
It was a busy Saturday evening and we were told there would be a 30 minute wait which we were fine with-at no time did the service offer us a to look at a menu to review or something to drink while we waited-we literally stood near the entryway for 45 minutes with zero hospitality whatsoever. There was a group before us that had an infant with them and it was a chilly evening though it’s Phoenix no one offered them a warm spot inside to wait with their baby. There’s a fully functional patio with three propane heaters on it none of them were functioning and there was plenty of wasted seating out there. I couldn’t understand this because people were actually offering to sit out there and they were being turned down and told that the heaters were not turned on. My guess is 4 to5 families turned and left when they were told about the wait time. A group arrived after we had already been waiting about 30 minutes and started asking us questions about the wait time. The host came up and told them that it would be an additional 30 to 40 minutes wait time-when the woman with the group asked “is there a list” he claimed that he had a very good memory and didn’t need to start a list with an arrogant tone. The same group was offered menus and drinks while they waited and temporarily seated at a pub height table that we assumed it was ours just after he told us he was going to clean it off for us. The group accepted and when we asked him what was happening he told us that table was now going to be awaiting area-at that point members of the group he seated at the table he previously offered to us actually stood up and offered to give us the seating which created a very awkward situation among the guests in the establishment. At this point my patience had run out and I asked the host what his plan was to get everyone seated he told us everyone would just have to wait-I looked at my group and we all decided to leave-he then asked us are you leaving? I said yes it doesn’t appear that you want to seat us. His exact quote to me was, “Oh you can stay if you want to.” What a horrible thing to say To people that are trying to come into your restaurant. We chose your establishment over all others in the area. You should want us to stay. If I were the owner I would get busy with some serious customer service training because I can tell you My Wife and I are not going to come back and When people ask us about our experience we will just have to be honest.
By the time we left we wasted almost 45 minutes of our evening standing in a business that was not equipped to serve the Peoria community.
Is the beer and food good? Couldn’t tell you. This was our first and last visit.
Our friends we were with recommended this place and I feel bad that everything blew up in their face. Let’s see if the owner cares enough to do something nice for them so maybe at least they will go back. Now I’m really confused but this should not matter because I won’t ever be going back the owner has reached out to me several times with a fabricated story and quite possibly one of his locals posting a Yelp review to cover horrible customer service saying that I behaved inappropriately and when our table was given away directly in front of us after we waited standing for 40 minutes see you complete description of what...
Read moreInitially i would have given them four stars minimum. The rating has dwindled all the way down to 1 because of the owner. Their beers and food were great. The only gripe that we had was how pricey things were for us. We weren’t given information regarding the flights prior since it’s no where to be found on a menu or on a chalkboard etc. Since we came during the happy hour it would have been nice to get some info or even a slight suggestion saying that it’s cheaper to just stick with a pint of beer rather than paying nearly 20 on one flight alone. They were all PAB beers no guest beers in my husband or brothers flights. I was really looking forward to coming back here on a regular basis since it’s so close to my moms house when we come to visit from chandler. I’m always down to support smaller local breweries. Because the owner decided to blow my initial review completely out of proportion to the most extreme level possible I don’t think I can step foot into this establishment. My brother and I were looking forward to trying their burgers too. Such a disappointment. Since I didn’t know the waitresses name I could only describe the only thing that stuck out. Which I regret and apologized for. I wish i had looked at my husbands receipt to grab a name So i could have started off by saying our server _, was very nice and hospitable but didn’t give us details. It’s great to see owners stick up for their employees as needed but for me stating that she didn’t give us details seems a bit harsh to jump down a customers throat for pointing out something that occurred and almost as a joke really because WOMEN understand what it’s like to have pregnancy brain. It happens to the best of us. I could understand if i was saying something out of line and rude for sure. But for just pointing out that details were left out. Really?
Now anytime I go to breweries in the world i know now to make sure to get a name and write it down first thing. Then ask for information regarding flights since apparently a crime to want information. Sorry money doesn’t grow on trees for us. My husband is currently the only one...
Read moreBring your own condiments. It has been a while since we came here and we were quite excited to be out. Very busy night. The music was great, but so loud. As we observed the room, the waitresses could not hear the customers call for them nor did they keep their eyes up to notice. It took 5+ minutes to get greeted and get water. Another waitress from a different section saw our hand up and helped us. She helped the table next to us too. The food came out fast..thank you. The owner gives you a tiny, 1.3 ounces of ketchup for your fries and your hamburger. If you need more, they will charge you. If condiments are your issue (to the owner) we suggest building the costs into the pricing of the meal. For ketchup, mustard, or sauces it's 1.3 ounces of each, if needed. If you need more, you'll be charged. We have never experienced this before unless it'S with guacamole. Although kind and helpful, the owner charging for tiny servings of condiments is off putting and stingy. Photo available. Completely weird experience about how stingy the place is about condiments. Tiny servings...wow. Hoping they find a solution that helps their pocket book.
EDIT: That wasn't us. You're speaking about another customer. I didn't order mustard or aoili and I never called you hard up. You're lying. Good job calling professionals in the community liars. A scene or was it trying to speak over the blaring music? No swearing, no flailing gestures, and no standing up while talking....there was no scene. We had a terrible experience, the waitress missed the boat on even getting waters to the table in a timely manner or greeting before five minutes and yes, now seeing you as your words "hard up" and stingy is more relevant than ever. We left a $25 tip because we felt she was spread thin, even though she was a jerk. The people I was with will find time to do a review too and I am betting they will write their review more aggressively than I did. Charging for anything that is 1.3 ounces is trailer park.
EDIT #2 It was $25. Thank you so much for the well wishes. You take suggestions like a champ. We wish you the best...
