The customer service & lack of cleanliness here continues to go down. Itâs so sad. Weâve been coming here for 7 years & yesterday was the last time. My 10 yr old son observed that the employee inside was not turning any blizzards upside down. (Something DQ advertises to show theyâre thick). He Kindly mentioned it to the manager . Who promptly & defensively replied âWe only have to flip one.â I replied that his nor the other 10+ rush of customers had theirs flipped & my son was questioning shouldnât he get a free one. She abruptly turned away, went to the back & started making orders again. While quickly shouting âNO.â (She was also taking drive thru orders, taking money, not washing her hands, and making treats). She then said who, who? As the employee came up, we repeated what happened, and he agreed yes, my son should get a FREE ONE. The manager then walked back to make ice cream & turned to the other employee & said âIâm so over this!â I said, as we walked out, âMy son was just making an observation & you are making such a big deal out of it. Dakota did not want to even try to do it. She gave a lot of ho and hums. Finally handing me a piece of paper she wanted me to fill out she said when do you need it, my reply was Sunday afternoon. She informed me it could not be done. She said it needed a two day notice. I said it is two day I was there before noon and need cake by 1. She said that wasnât two days. I said okay so really a three day notice then she changed completely and said only the manager does cakes and we never know if she will be here. She may not be here on Sunday, meaning it wouldnât have mattered when I came. I gave her so many opportunities to say âlet me call her.â Customer service to me is the most important thing a business can still do. When the girl handed me my first blizzard I wasnât sure if she gave me the right thing. I asked for a pumpkin pie blizzard with extra pie pieces and pumpkin puree, but I was given a cup of vanilla ice cream that was about half an inch below the rim with just a few pie pieces and puree on top. She didnât put any whipped cream or cinnamon on it either, and I paid $2 for the âextraâ toppings but I barely received a fourth of even the regular amount⊠Confused, I said, âOh, maâam? I donât think this has been mixed yet.â To which she replied, âOur blender is broken right now, sorry.â Before I could say anything else, she handed me my other âblizzardâ and said, âHave a good night.â I just paid $16 for like 22 ounces of vanilla ice cream⊠She should tell people about the blender if they order a blizzard, or at least put up a sign.
