Contemporary Art Center of Peoria Illinois — Attraction in Peoria

My nephew had a piece of his artwork in the 17th annual Art Exhibit so I went over there to check it out! He did amazing of course and it was so awesome to see all the different art pieces that other students had contributed! Some of them are so impressive I absolutely loved being there and obviously I was very proud of my nephew! It was very cool to be able to walk around and look at the art and also be able to explore Preston Jackson's Studio, so fascinating and really happy that I was invited to attend the show! I had never been in Rhythm Kitchen Music Cafe but they're located inside of the Contemporary Arts Center as well, going to have to try them out sometime! It sounds like a happy environment, there was somebody playing the piano and lots of people were enjoying their dinner! They always have all kinds of events happening at the Contemporary Arts Center come on by and check it...

We have only been back in Peoria for around 6 months are always trying to find unique places to go. We love art and this was trip worth going downtown and trying to find parking. They feature several artists and you can even go in the studio area where they are working on different projects. I love the fact that they have taken an old warehouse and given it new life. There is also a cafe on the main floor but we did not stop in to eat. We will definitely visit The Contemporary Art...
