I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express nearby and needed to find a walking trail nearby. This one was the closest and literally started from the parking lot of my hotel. Not a super long trail, but it gets the job done for getting some exercise while on the road for work.

The walking path is entirely paved with asphalt and well maintained. What is really nice is the path takes you by the bridge and waterway into Peoria. Very scenic.

Absolutely love this park!!! Such a nice relaxing spot to just sit back and do nothing. Also along the fence, couples put a lock on which I thought was really cool. So of course we went right over to Walmart and got one to put on the fence.
