Metro is a strip center in the center of town that is an empty shell of what it once was. The question is why as the center was sold about a year ago and nothing has been done as more stores leave and nothing takes there place. It looks like a sinking ship down the main part of the center vacancy after vacancy. The current tenant mix is terrible and now the stores close at 5:00pm. during the week. Crazy way of doing business in a very difficult economy for small business. Why? When are the new owners of Metro Center going to do something in the center? They have owned it for what a year now and just look at it the main part of the Center with Pottstown gone looks like an abandoned town in an old western movie. The longer the stores sit vacant the worst it gets. Now the new owners of Metro Center are list small parcels for sale of stores throughout the center and my questions are Why? Apparently when you are participating in the 'Race for the Cure', it's okay to walk right into the path of moving vehicles. Just be sure to put on your best sourpuss face when you realize what you've done. It makes it easier to 'morf your embarrassment into disdain and project it at the alert driver who was forced to brake for you because you were so obcessed with making it to the cattle call on time.
Heaven forbid you hefers actually plan ahead and get there a bit earlier so you aren't so rushed.
