My partner and I went here for lunch to try a new sushi place. We were abruptly told to go “find a table” when we tried to sit at the sushi bar. My partner ordered two rolls and I ordered Dan Dan mein , which looked amazing in the photo on the menu. The bowl was full of chives and bok choy and chili oil. The dish I received looked like sloppy Joe on spaghetti. I told our server it did not look at all like the picture on the menu in which she replied “don’t order that next time then”. As far as the sushi, the rice was good but it was mostly full of lettuce and tempura. I think they may have forgotten the fish.

We had high hopes with the reviews here and were excited to find a sushi & sake bar, but no I wouldn't recommend. Tempura was cold and uncooked - I think the oil wasn't hot enough so the batter was still wet. The menu said fried Chinese dough with sweetened condensed milk what we got were 4 cold stale rolls and were told we could use sugar packets instead of dipping sauce. Sushi was just a pile of rice with a stuffed middle. No sticky rice today. Lastly the $4 tea was just hot water. :(

1st time. Stopped in for lunch during a business trip. I was just floored by the large menu! The prices are very reasonable for the quality, which was amazing. The pictures in the menu hide how large the portions are, so make sure you order appropriately. The flavors were perfect, the presentation was on point, and the staff were super friendly! I hope I get to come here again to try even more things! If you're ever in the area, you have to to check this place out!

Worst food experience in Peoria⚠️ Honestly I never write bad reviews because I don't like to be mean. But this was unacceptable. The place was completely empty but we were there because it was recommended. One couple came in after us and I watched as the chef made their food. We witnessed the sushi chef sneeze and cough on the sushi before it was served to a different table. He was sniffing and snorting like he had a cold. I got scared and started filming him because I was worried about him making our food.

Our fried rice tasted completely burned and the veggies were uncooked. When I mentioned it to the server she got quite defensive and in a condescending tone exclaimed that " it was cooked in a wok...on fire....so it was supposed to be like that." I stopped pushing because I didn't want to be difficult.

She kept mumbling under breath as she passed us and when our sushi was served it was awful 😭

The rolls were huge but didn't stay together and the tempura crab in the rolls was bitter and tasted like the crab hadn't been properly cleaned. I saw the work area that the sushi was being prepared and it had tons of premade rolls sitting out in the open air just drying out and getting germs on it. (Probably sneezes too) We were so upset and just left without eating everything.

I wish I had it in me to debate with the server but we are just hungry and upset we had to pay over 45 $ for that shít😒 I hope we don't get sick.

Don't go here. Don't order the raw sushi meat. If you do be prepared for a...

👎How is this place even open? Poor Quality ingredients, Poor Customer service..and bathrooms are dirty and disgusting🤮

This was our first and last time here. We were looking forward tons great meal but we got the opposite. We were not greeted with a friendly welcome, it was basically...go over there to sit and what do you want to drink..with a few extra words. The guy preparing the sushi did else very friendly however.

I ordered the Mongolian beef. When it came out, there were way too many onions, clearly overcompensated for the small amount of meat given..which was low quality and very fatty. The sauce was so sweet, I could hardly eat it. I complained about it to the waitress and she said sorry that is how the dish is made, it comes with onions and is very sweet. Clearly, I understand that my personal preference doesn't make it their fault but I know the traditional dish does not have a million onions and is so sweet you can't eat it. They did not offer something else or to take off the bill. My boyfriend ordered the General So's chicken and there was so much breading and almost no meat. It should have been called General So's breading. But ..he is not one to complain. Waiting for the bill, I went to the restroom and they were filthy, had we seen this prior to ordering. We would have left ..as this would be an indication if what their kitchen was like. We will never be back. I hope they read this and it...

I’m going to start by saying… I lived in Japan for 2 years. My husband and I have had some of the best sushi probably in the world. While we realize this is the Midwest we still want a sushi fix on occasion. My husband used to go to Sushi Ko all the time and he loved it, however, over the years quality has changed—and not because we’re sushi snobs! We’ve been there about 3 times in the last 6 months with high hopes that the last time was a fluke. It’s been pretty terrible every time. The sushi rice seems undercooked and not sticky. One of the items I ordered did not come out as described on the menu. Edamame pods were half frozen in the middle of the bowl. The kicker for me— the rolls with crab were not only made with imitation crab but the crab pieces were still wrapped in PLASTIC inside the rolls. So not only did the roll fall apart but I found myself peeling the plastic out of the roll. Really really bummed but this is not our sushi...
