Peoria Riverfront Park — Attraction in Peoria

This park is quaint, beautiful, and so relaxing. They kept the grounds and surrounding area very clean and the weeds and grass are mowed for easy walking around the garden to read the different stones. I had never been to this park before but I saw the brown historic park sign while driving down the road and went on a whim! I’m so happy that I did because it was totally worth it and found a little piece of history and happiness outside. I would definitely come back to this park again for another adventure. This also goes on for a long time on the riverfront park district and continues for a long trail with different planets and stops to look at! Definitely worth checking out for different memorial, gardens, water, and the river! There are even events that happen on the riverfront during the summer like music...

This can be a more beautiful place if they will take time to clean the lake, update the public bathrooms and maybe make it look more appealing. The fountain doesn’t even work anymore. It’s a nice place to walk and hangout. Just a little effort from the city will make this place...
