Tristan is an experienced barista who has traveled to Costa Rica to learn the coffee process from plantation to cup. He personally roasts all the coffee that is served at [CxT]. While preparing your coffee, Tristan's craftsmanship and attention to detail allows him to capture the complexity of the coffee while simultaneously retaining the unique signature notes of each particular variety. The result is excellent coffee. The best coffee I have ever had whether it be hot or iced. [CxT] Roasting Company also offers a variety of teas, chocolates, and scones. Seating is available both inside the shop and outside on the Main Street sidewalk. The sidewalk seats as well as the inside seats located by the window offer a nice view of downtown Peoria. Huge coffee Connoisseur and have been to every coffee shop in this area and when I travel frequently I go to lots of others and I honestly have to say that CXT has the BEST coffee I’ve ever had and extremely grateful that it’s tight here my home town! I go here for my usual 16oz Fr Vanilla iced latte with half and half at least once a week. Lately I have been charged any where from $5.66 to $6.77. Same drink same size. I asked and was told it was charge for the half and half. Last Thursday National Coffee Day they tried to charge me $7.00 for the same drink and size.
