We just recently had my Mother's burial mass here at St. Charles. Reverand James gave a beautiful service for my Beautiful sweet Mother, Andrea Villarreal Velasquez, who we laid to rest on June 29th, after her passing on June 20th. She was a long time member of St Charles Borromeo and also attended the Eucharistic Perpetual Adoration Chapel weekly, before she became ill and homebound. St. Charles Borromeo has always held a special place in our hearts, as my siblings and I made our First Holy Communions here way back in 1974, when Father Long was the residing Priest.
St. Charles Borromeo has undergone a wonderful remodeling over the years that has turned it into a beautiful little church that serves this parish wonderfully. I encourage all local Catholics to visit or attend mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Read moreMy wife and I attended the 11am Mass on Sunday April 24th while visiting from New York. As we walked out my wife remarked what a nice Mass it was, which was my feeling throughout the Mass. The priest, who I believe is the pastor was very warm and humorous. At the end of the Mass he asked if anyone was or had celebrated a birthday, and didn’t give up until people fessed up and announced their birthday. Then the folk group and congregation sang Happy Birthday. Then he asked who was visiting from elsewhere. What also impressed me was the number of parishioners who served at this one Mass. Also, unlike most Catholic Churches I feel, the congregation actively participated in singing the hymns.
