Peosta Community Centre — Attraction in Peosta

Attended a wedding reception here recently. I hadn't had high expectations of the place but I was pleasantly surprised. The space was quite nice. Adequate room. Nice outdoor porch/patio. I very much enjoyed the lighting. Strung up Christmas lights (the icicle kind) all along the ceiling. Really looked pretty and set a good mood.

I will say that the drinks from the bar were of just the right strength, but the variety could have been better. Not sure if that was due to the building or the involved families.

A sizable dance floor is also present. I did not dance but it did not seem packed when there were many others on the floor.

All in all it was a nice wedding and the venue certainly did its job to enhance and support...

We rented the banquet room for our July wedding reception and we couldn’t be happier. Everything was clean and everyone was professional each time we visited. Vicky made sure the layout looked great even for our small wedding (about 150). She was also very helpful each step of the planning process. You know all of the prices up front so there weren’t any surprises at the end of the night. And they light your candles or turn on fairy lights for you. We had a ton so that was a huge help! We selected the Peosta Community Centre for our wedding venue for our September of 2022 wedding! We absolutely loved this venue with being a newer facility. It’s very spacious for large weddings. Wheelchair accessible entrances. Vicky was so fun and easy to work with. She made picking out the layout and other important details easy. She made working with our caterers, DJ, and decor a breeze.
