Gypsy Spirits Tasting Room — Attraction in Petoskey

This is from August 18’ but I only just learned how to google reviewLong review,but they totally deserving! **

My girlfriend and I were on a girls weekend in August and ate at a local restaurant. I wanted to go somewhere for good cocktails and good vibes afterwards. Our waitress Hannah at Duffy’s recommended High Five Spirts after telling us all about your liquors!

I sampled the rum in a drink at Duffy’s, so I was sold on trying more of it. She told us to go see Mike for good drinks and service.We made our way over about 8:30 and it was quiet enough to meet the Mike we were told to look for. Who knew there were so many Mike’s there?! Mike gave us a sample of the goods. While both the vodka and rum were good, I got the Mic’s Painkiller( I think it was called that?!) and it was sooo good!

The drinks were delicious and generous in alcohol. I am a frequent flyer to Vegas so I have high expectations with my cocktails and these drinks were top notch! Vegas quality 👌🏻without the Vegas price.

I wanted to sample them all but of course didn’t want to mix alcohol so I settled on rum for the night.I went back the next day for a bottle of Rum, and can’t wait to indulge at home,Mike was amazing again the next day!

The blonde bartender was high energy and I didn’t feel as silly grooving in my seat with her dancing around! The vibes at this place,the drinks,the bar top,the decor, and the ambiance were all amazing! We had a treat of seeing DJ Stash on Friday night.It was jam packed by the time we left, the music still pumping!Everyone was on top of it, always checking in and asking how we were doing. You can tell everyone loves that place, and their job because it radiates good energy!

After doing a little more research on Gypsy vodka the other young fellas that I assumed were maybe managers/bartenders seem to be the owners?!They were getting down and dirty serving up the drinks. Very awesome! It shows they obviously are hands on at their establishment and take great pride in it.

I wish I lived closer, but I will definitely be back! I hope you guys are around for many...

My husband and I went to High Five Spirits for the first time on Friday night. We’ve walked past it a few times when we visit Petoskey and always wanted to stop in. It’s very cool in there with lots to look at if you don’t want to talk to the person you’re with haha. The drinks were delicious and the bar tenders were very nice. Another group of guests even brought their puppy in, which made us very happy. 🐶 There was also a DJ which we were surprised to see. We were hoping for live music. This place is my new go to, whether I am close by, driving through or an hour away. Nothing but great times everytime I have been to this place. Staff and ownership make you feel welcomed and like family. Great story about the company and starting of it, when you stop by I recommend asking about it. Unfortunately covid ruined my plans last year for visiting but when I visit this year I will make up for the lost time. People make Christmas lists, I make High Five Spirits lists because they have so many good things from their spirits to merchandise. Cheers to a happy and...
