One of the nicer local pools in Pflugerville. I like how much space there is, and I appreciate the separation between the really young kids and everyone older. The pool isn't too cold on a hot day, so if you're expecting Barton Springs cold you're not gonna get it. But given the pricing and the location (especially if you're in/close to Pflugerville), it's a nice place to visit. A nice plus is that there are tables and chairs that are for the most part in the shade (perfect for the summer). Great playscape for big and little kids, nice benches to sit and supervise, bathrooms close by, nice flowing water in the creek, beautiful trees providing a canopy for the play area, nice trails to walk, and friendly happy people enjoying the park. Also there were plenty of picnic tables and a gazebo. I didn't see any trash on the ground. plenty of parking close by. We feel like we found a treasure. We love Richard Moya park, but this one was a little cleaner, with no...
Read moreGilleland creek pool and park is a really nice, clean park. There is plenty of extra large sidewalk to allow for bicyclists, and walkers at the same time. I even saw a roller blader cruising down the sidewalk through the park. Everything is kept tidy, plenty of dog waste removal bins and bags for the puppy's. Last there are tons of trees giving plenty of shade for the hot months here. Good job to the Parks department, they...
