My husband and I are regulars at Amex Airport lounges but since we were traveling with our 14 month old, we decided to try the Chase Sapphire Lounge instead since it was closer to our gate. We have gotten accustom to having to wait to go into Amex Lounges and them being overly crowded so we did not know what to expect with Sapphire using our Priority Pass App. Hands down, the best decision! I would rate it our favorite Airport Lounge experience, especially with our child. Being child free, our favorite Airport Lounge is Amex's Centurion Lounge at JFK but we will go back to Sapphire over Amex all day in Philly. Here's why 👇🏼
Checking in was as easy as just opening our Priority Pass App
There was no wait to get in and plenty of seating with multiple room options to relax or work.
The staff was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. Yes, fast. Meaning, everyone actually had a sense of urgency to do their job with a smile on their face.
They have a large playroom for children with doors that shut so your little one can run wild without disturbing everyone else or nap in peace. They also have game rooms with video games, large tvs, and arcade games.
Just my personal opinion but the food was WAY BETTER than any Amex Lounge I've been to and they had way more Gluten Free and Vegan options.
I did not have an appointment for the spa but the secretary put me on the wait list. I was fortunate to get squeezed in for a facial which was customized to my skin's needs and I was given skincare to go.
My favorite feature: Each table has a QR Code you can scan to open their food & drink menus. You can order whatever you like and they bring it all to your table. This made life so much more efficient dealing with a baby. The service was very fast and both my husband, baby, and I...
Read moreOne of the best airport lounges I’ve visited! Having access to the Capital One Lounge, Admiral’s Club, and various Priority Pass lounges, I’d rank the Chase Sapphire Lounge at Philadelphia Airport on the higher end of these options.
The lounge is centrally located and easy to reach after TSA. Upon entry, the staff gives a warm welcome, efficiently checks you in, and provides a quick overview of the amenities. The space is thoughtfully designed with a variety of seating areas to match different preferences—whether you’re looking for a sophisticated cocktail bar, a beer garden with a great selection, a game room with arcade and console games, family-friendly areas, quiet rest spaces, or even a wellness and spa section if you have extra time.
A special shoutout to Prince, a standout staff member who went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. He took the time to walk me through the lounge, explained the food and drink options, and even offered to expedite my meal if I was short on time. His friendly and professional service truly made a difference, and I hope management recognizes his excellent work.
The drink selection is top-notch, with an extensive range of cocktails, wines, and a fantastic variety of local and European beers on tap in the beer garden. For food, you have the choice of a well-stocked buffet or ordering from the à la carte menu, which was smooth and efficient—the food arrived quickly and was well-prepared.
Service throughout the lounge is impressive, with attentive staff ensuring that tables are promptly cleared and the space remains clean and comfortable. Whether you’re looking to relax, work, or grab a quick bite before your flight, this lounge delivers a premium experience.
Highly recommend checking it out if you...

As a dad traveling solo with my two daughters (4 and 2), the Chase Sapphire Lounge at the Philadelphia Airport felt like someone finally designed an airport lounge for us. From the moment we walked in, I knew this was going to make our long layover so much easier.
The space is huge, bright, and thoughtfully laid out. There’s a dedicated children’s playroom that kept my girls entertained with toys and books while I could actually sip a hot coffee (without having to reheat it five times). The staff was friendly and didn’t blink an eye when my youngest had a minor meltdown—everyone treated us like valued guests, not an inconvenience.
Food options were fantastic, with kid-friendly choices and fresh, locally inspired dishes for grown-ups. We loved ordering from our seats via QR code—no juggling plates in a buffet line while balancing a toddler on my hip.
The lounge also has shower suites and quiet rest pods if you need to recharge. My daughters thought the retro arcade was the coolest thing ever, and it was a great way to burn off energy before the next flight.
What really stood out was how welcoming and inclusive the whole experience felt. Whether you’re traveling for work or corralling little kids, this lounge has something for everyone. It sets a new standard and shows that airports can be comfortable, relaxing, and even enjoyable for families.
If you have access, don’t miss it—it turned what could have been a stressful day into a genuinely pleasant one. Highly recommend for parents (and anyone else) who wants a break from the chaos of...
