Cute place, and tasty ice cream! On a summer day that's near 90 degrees, we were craving a cool sweet treat, but the thought of standing out in the hot sun to order our ice cream or water ice was a bit discouraging. We know there are a few indoor spots we could drive to, but they're out of our neighborhood, and we weren't up for going too far. That's when my wife remembered her friend saying a new spot opened up near her. I checked the map, and, sure enough, there was Frozen Wonders Café! We were pleased to find street parking right in front, quickly parked, and walked in. They had a few customers at the counter ahead of us, but still were quick to greet us upon our entry, which was nice. My wife ordered for herself and our child, and I was content to just take in the vibe, but what did my eyes happen to see behind the glass partition?! A SUGAR-FREE OPTION!!! I gladly ordered my sugar-free raspberry swirl ice cream, joined my family on the stools by the window, and enjoyed! We took in the pink and white striped walls, the neon light signs, the decorative having lamps, the soft white armchair, the painting upon the back wall, the pink flowers decking out the other wall... it all made for a cute aesthetic. I felt they could use similar decor around the window by where we were seated, and if some attention was given to some decor behind the counter, either on the ceiling or walls or both, the look would be complete. The ice cream was delicious, the prices were on point, and the specials they had advertised will keep us coming back to this indoor air-conditioned ice cream joint! And it's right here in the Wissinoming neighborhood!

My second time here and the customer service is always amazing! Immediately when I walked through the door, I am greeted and helped right away. The place is very clean and they have cute photo ops. Sometimes it’s hard choosing what to get because of the varieties of choices but with the help of the ladies there, I got a tropical island water ice and strawberry cheesecake ice cream gelati. It was so good! I definitely found my new favorite sweet spot and will definitely be going back!

This is honestly the best ice cream place I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here quite a few times and every time I love it! My go to is their banana split! I love banana splits and theirs is AMAZING! The owner and her crew are some of the sweetest people ever and they make the experience 100x better. The place is always clean and it’s just such a cute aesthetically pleasing shop. I highly recommend coming here!

Upon moving into the neighborhood, I was incredibly hyped to find this ice cream spot, especially after seeing their fantastic Instagram photos. I finally decided to check it out. A heads-up on parking: it can be a bit challenging, so if you're with someone, it might be easier for one person to stay with the car while the other picks up the ice cream. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by how phenomenal the establishment is. The decor, the artwork, and the overall ambiance are truly impressive. Unfortunately, the experience at the counter was a bit different. The three employees working didn't acknowledge our presence, which felt a little unwelcoming. I attempted to spark a conversation to lighten the mood, but it didn't seem to make a difference. This really felt like a missed opportunity in terms of customer service, possibly due to a lack of training. As someone who strongly supports Black businesses, I always wish for their success and actively promote them. It's crucial that we continue to invest in and prepare our young people to confidently and professionally run establishments of this caliber. Best of...
