Original Boston Pizza - Mayfair — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Food is below average, nothing particularly special. It's not bad but not great either. I had decent experiences with them before, but this time we were trying to get some late night food delivery which is one of the advantages of this place. (We called an hour before close) From the first second the lady on the phone seemed to have an attitude and also couldn't do math apparently. We tried to order a side of cheese fries for $6.90 and family special on their menu for 2 large pies for $19.90 plus $6 for toppings and the late night delivery fee of $2 somehow this sum of 19.90 + 6 + 6.90 + 2 = $34.80 + $2.78 tax = $37.58. She says "okay, that's gonna be 57 dollars" then I asked her to repeat the price to be sure I heard right and she did. Then when i ask how a 20 dollar special and fries was so much she said "actually it's 25 dollars, you must have an old menu" and if that's the case somehow in her mind this 20 dollar price difference was due to a 5 dollar difference on the special. Then we ended up ordering just 1 pie and the fries which was still somehow 30 something dollars. Then we wait for the delivery for over an hour and a half watching out the window and keeping my phone at hand in case they call, and even tried calling them and the phone just kept ringing with no answer and the driver never called or showed up with the order. From my previous experiences lately the food from this place Is honestly sub-par but it was okay because it was convenient but now their service and prices are worse than the food. Wouldn't waste my time on them, there are many better places in the area with better food, prices, and service, like pizza city and Francesco steaks just to name a couple. which both offer late night options as well and are much more friendly and better priced. 1 star is way too much for them!! I worked all day came home and ordered from this horrible place. First they took my order wrong and then delivered only half of my food waited an hour and then called cause I didn't get my food he says ok I'm gonna send it back out supposedly with 30 percent discount and here I am hour and a half later still waiting for1 stupid cheese steak hoagie so I call and the lady says oh yeah they are on their way and now it's 230 in the morning still waiting for my food obviously they are not coming I'm not gonna waste my time calling again but I will make sure I tell everybody how horrible this place is and it's such a shame cause we have been ordering from here for years at least once a week but usually more then that!!! I have lots of friends that order from here never again!!! I will be calling tomorrow to let owner know how horrible their service is and the worst part is I gave a good tip too. Just called to ask a question about their menu on uber eats and this counter girl argues with me and telling me she's turning uber eats off now. Mind you it is an hour and 15 minutes to close, but I guess they hire people who don't care about them making money. Oh well I'll take my business elsewhere 🤷‍♂️

Update: gave this place a second try today and well... heres my review. This is probably the worst pizza shop in mayfair. Their customer service lacks severely. Absolutely will not help the customer, wouldnt send out a new driver. Issue a refunded, coupon for next time, NOTHING. On top of that you spend 20 dollars for 1 buffalo chicken pizza and its the size of a personal pan pizza. Next time il cross the street and spend 20 dollars on a montesini's buffalo chicken pizza.
