Grant Meadows Apartments — Attraction in Philadelphia

I lived there from 2019 September to 2022 October. place was filled with mice and roaches..added to that I was having bed bugs even though I kept the place as clean as I could because none of the neighbors were clean. to make it worse I was living in building D were washing machine was always broke which they never fixed due to which I had to go to laundromat every week.. To make matters worse my downstairs neighbor named Bill (I think he has been living there for years now and he believes he owns the entire property) would sit with his patio chair right on the entrance of building with bottles of beers with friends and I had to deal with their loud talk (basically verbal abuse) through my thin walls late at night in most of summer days. one neighbor was even bringing people living on the street to sleep on the lobby stairways after getting cash from them.. won't even give it one star if I had a choice.. I believe I was in one their worst unit which was D.. I was also constantly worried about my car as the neighbors kids will be playing in in the parking lots without even caring if they would damage the cars in the parking lot.. some weekends I have even seen neighbors using parking lot to do barbecue cook out..don't ever move in to Unit D unless u want to have loud disrespectful drunk neighbors. .. I had two amazon delivery which was delivered inside the building in front of my door being stolen..keep away.....

I currently live in apartment E33….I lived here as a kid and I came back because it was a happy place for me. Never go back to your childhood home. This place is NOT what they say it is. No means of actual maintenance, I’ve had a consistent leak since I moved in after two weeks of being here. I was told the apartment has no history of bugs and I promise that’s a lie. Multiple spottings of them and multiple complaints called in and nothing, even when it’s an emergency issue. Paint job is a wreck, laundry rooms disgusting, trash everywhere out back of apartments and inside hallways smell of smoke and haven’t been cleaned deeply in years which makes your home smell. The pool, forget it. It’s gross and always green and barely ever open. This is disappointing and while I don’t have anything against those who are disabled as someone who has been around it their whole lives with parents who were mental health techs, the top priority is the assisted living and section 8 tenants. For a first apartment it’s fine but I promise you I won’t be here for more than another year. Lisa property group you should be ashamed...

Update for clarification- I resided in D unit from 2016 to 2019. My neighbor was the one that reviewed not too long ago, mentioning the random people on the stairwell and drunk neighbors below. At that time, mgmt couldnt evict the noise curfew violators that made our lives hell, so they threw red paint all over our stairwell. We had horrid fumes to deal with. Red paint was splashed everywhere for months until i alerted L&I. After the complex failed the followup inspection, the complex finally replaced carpets and painted walls as we were moving out. Philly 311 is your friend in these kind of places.

2016-19 tenant here, d building. Infestations have never been resolved since the pests live in the walls. Poor security around doors, holes in walls within apartments and laundry room. Violations galore via lookup, which is under a different address for some odd reason. I've never disliked a place so much, and felt so unsafe at night. I'm glad I don't live there anymore.
