Ideal Image Liberty Place — Attraction in Philadelphia

#1- I am not one to write reviews at all! But I really need the general public to be warned and save their money!

I've had the worst experience with Ideal Image Liberty Place. I purchased a $6000, 16 month hair removal package. Ideal Image closed for covid for about 4 months, but when they re-opened they had very limited staff and did not answer their phones. I could not reach them to reschedule the appointment until the 6 month mark, i left 20+ voicemails over a 2-3 month period.. When I finally got in there, the front desk ladies told me they would credit me for 4 months. I did not agree, so i asked to speak with the manager, who was "not in at the time". She never called me back either! So, I hunted down her email and literally emailed Amy Battaglia, the Office Manager, a total of 6 times between October & December, 2020 and she has yet to answer my question of: When does my package now expire ? I should have a 6 month credit. They literally refuse to respond.

Then today I had an appointment for my hair removal. I drive from NJ into Philly, pay to park, I showed up 10 minutes early at 10:10am for my 10:20am appointment. I wait outside 5 minutes before someone greets me at the door, they tell me to hold on, they come back another 5 minutes later and proceed to tell me my appointment has been "AUTO CANCELLED". What the heck does Auto Cancelled mean? I'm standing in your office for my appointment time slot, 10 minutes early and you "CAN'T FIT ME IN"????? They literally told me they couldn't fit me in for my appointment and I just drove from NJ to come here!! I never got a call or email asking to confirm or to cancel the appointment. --I am a reliable person who paid $6,000 for a hair removal package, why would they auto cancel me, with out calling me?? So i say to the girl, can you put me in for Monday? The response is "NO, I can't reschedule you, because we don't have the schedule released to us yet".

So not only has 5 months gone by and I can't get an honest answer out of them about the covid shut down time frame credits I am due. But on top of that, I am now wasting more time, energy, and wasted money down the drain because I am not being provided the services I paid for! And can't even get an appointment with them.

This is literally the first Google Review I am ever writing. I am utterly disheartened and sick to my stomach about how I've been treated by this company. I may even make a complaint with the Better Business Borough if they don't do something...

I just wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to Ideal Image at Liberty Place. I have been thinking about laser hair removal for YEARS! Finally, I took the plunge and made an appointment for a consultation at Ideal Image. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I was in great hands. My consultant spent literally about 2 hours answering ALL of my questions. After speaking with her and hearing the answers to my questions, I felt like I was ready to embark on this journey that I had been putting off for so long.

I was lucky enough to have my first appointment with Pri. I can not say enough good things about Pri. She is caring and helpful and funny and it’s like sitting with a friend for an hour while she zaps your hair away . . . LOL! Pri always goes over hair growth and asks me how I feel about the results I have been experiencing. She listens and understands any concerns that I may have. I love seeing her when I go to my appointments every 8 weeks or so.

Sometimes, Pri isn’t scheduled on the day I visit, but she ALWAYS leaves me in great, capable hands. I have also had the pleasure to work with Heather and Danielle. Both of which felt like friends after an hour together in the treatment room. ALL of these ladies make sure I am comfortable and are sweet, professional, and courteous.

I recently had my first appointment post pandemic and it went so smoothly. I waited outside following proper protocol and the receptionist made sure to come check on me and assure me I would be called back soon and offered me a beverage. I had absolutely no problem waiting . . . whatever I can do to help in this pandemic. Pri came out prior to my appointment and asked me the standard Covid-19 screening questions and took my temperature. At this time, I was allowed into the office where my first stop was the hand sanitizing station. Everyone was wearing masks and I felt super comfortable. I was led right back into the procedure room where my hair was zapped and then Pri escorted me out. You are in the office for a minimal amount of time for less chance of exposure.

I have to give an update! The staff member who did our consultation and listened to the reason I was there recommended we wait until the ingrown leg hair aria heals and start with another area ,After giving me the quote of $4000.00 The next time we went in I noted that the ingrown hairs area has healed and was then told that area was not included in the price! It was the ONLY reason I took my daughter with special needs to have laser hair removal in the first place. I had a Dr.s note. But knew insurance wouldn’t cover it. But had no idea I’d be paying over $4000.00 and not have the area I explained to her included!!! No one could give me an explanation. The number they have listed is a furniture store who says they get their calls all the time. I finally got a customer service number and after a long back & forth conversation he quoted a lower price then the $8000.00 a staff member gave me to add legs to the bill. When I went back they had no idea what I was talking about or who I was talking to! It’s very hard to get to the bottom of anything! My guess is it’s a franchise and no one knows what the other is doing . No one was on the same page and I have yet to connect the dots! I really felt like a bait and switch was pulled on me. Whether it was my misunderstanding or the staff’s misunderstanding of the urgency of our needs. My daughter also has type 1 insulin dependent diabetes . The hair follicle infections where driving her Blood Sugar up and giving her keytones a very dangerous side affect of elevated Blood Sugar . It had to be corrected! Now I’ve paid $4000.00 and it was never addressed!

I found out Answer at SEV Hair removal on Frankford Ave. So much cheaper a beautiful establishment with professional staff who actually answer your questions and address your problems! Especially the one that Ideal Image created for us!!

With Groupon we got the same service for 1/2 the price and free on street parking in trending Fishtown! Such a nicer experience !

My dermatologist recommended SEV laser Hair Removal on Frankford Ave. Sorry I didn't hear about them first!
