In my opinion this is one of the more impressive convention centers, it's massive and can handle more than 20k attendees.
My wife attended ALA or American Library Association conference. I tagged along for a few days in Philadelphia to sight see and enjoy the food scene.
The interior was very modern which was immediately noticeable. The exterior stretches a few city blocks. Security everyday was everywhere, especially outside. The heavy police presence was overwhelming. But of course the city stands to loose business if attendees do not feel safe, or an incident.
Also they keep debris in check which cannot be easy with homeless. They also power wash the sidewalks I noticed.

The convention center staff, the folks behind the scene, were amazing, friendly and attentive. The hall went from sweltering to freezing so bring clothing options and layers! Having an event in a large hall presents many challenges (sound, temperature, concrete floors, vast spaces in between). I wasn’t the organizer of this convention so I can’t speak about that aspect.
