Penn Live Arts/Iron Gate Theatre — Attraction in Philadelphia

Used to be a church but was converted by Univ of Penn into an intimate (small) performance space with excellent acoustics. Seating consists of padded wooden church pews accessible by stairs. Good parking at Walnut-38 parking garage 1 block away (has 4 Blink electric level 2 car chargers). An odd thing about the entrance - You enter the facility from the lefthand front ornate stone & iron gate, but this entrance is dark and gloomy up to only 30 minutes prior to the start of your event. There is a completely dark accessable enclosed space behind the gate but the door inside is locked and only opens 30 min before showtime (when they turn on the outer light).
