The entire visit went smoothly. The facilities were clean and neat. The second that I got in the building the guard was nice, greeted me and then directed me where to go for Labcorp. Then I checked in on the computer. That was easy and took about 3 minutes or less. Then when I went to sit down. 10 seconds later I was called to the back to be checked in. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and greeted me as well. I gave her my paperwork and she took me straight to the back right after check in to get my blood drawn for the test. Back there she greeted me again. She was very friendly and kind. She explained the entire process and kept open communication. I didn't realize that the kind of test I needed could be done via blood draw because i was used to seeing it done another way but she informed me that it could. I was amazed to learn something new. I told her that I had a fear of needles and she was patient and understanding. Asking me which arm did I want to use and talking to me, reassuringly as she stuck the needle in my arm to draw blood. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. It was a very pleasant and wonderful experience. I only wish I knew her name so that I could thank her. She wore pink scrubs. I was greeted from everyone I saw there today. Thank you, Labcorp 3700 Market staff for a wonderful and...
Read moreI have gone to this location for all of my lab work and glucose tests for the past 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Entire facility is clean, staff has always been friendly. I recommended it to my husband as well, who has a bit of a fear of needles, and he was happy with how friendly and quick they were. We have a disabled son who needs blood work every few months, and normally we would drive almost an hour to the children's hospital in DE to get it done as they know how to deal with him. I suggested this time we tried here since it's much closer to home, and I cannot say enough good things about how they were with him. I am only regretful I didn't get their names. The woman at the front was very kind and understanding, as well as the tech who took the draw. Both talked directly to my son even though he is non-verbal which is always appreciated. The front desk woman came back to see if we'd need any help or support during the draw, but the tech was so quick my son barely flinched. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Our last LabCorp experience with him was at another location and it was so awful I was afraid to try another one again, but we will definitely be coming back in the future...
Read moreThe early parts were easy, doctor makes a request, labcorp sends an email and I make an appointment. There's follow up reminder emails. This morning I'm directed to check in from my phone when I arrive. The message says "wait where you're comfortable" either in the office or in your car. I choose to wait in the car as it's over 90 degrees and 80 percent humidity. I'm directed to wait for a text, it doesn't arrive.
I eventually go inside, there's a kiosk to check in but I'm already checked in. After a full hour there, I ask if I can reschedule and the woman looks angry. Where were you? You didn't check in. I called your name. We go back and forth. She starts imitating me and making fun of me. Wow.
So, basically worst medical experience ever in a sea of poor...
