I am extremely unhappy with the level of client care from the MANAGEMENT (the front desk ladies were lovely) at Allure Medspa in Avondale. They are completely unwilling to work with their clients and clearly do not value their clients' time. My experience felt like I was being strung along to meet their needs rather than being catered to as a paying customer.
I signed up for a monthly plan where they take money out each month, promising discounts on products and treatments in return. From the outset, I informed them that I was moving out of state soon, but I wanted to get my lips done. A week before my lip appointment, I got a tooth infection and was put on antibiotics. When I called to check if this would affect my treatment, they informed me that I had to wait two weeks after finishing the antibiotics, so I rescheduled my appointment, making sure to give them ample notice to avoid any revenue loss.
Later, I was told I needed surgery on my mouth. Again, I called Allure to update them, and they said I needed to wait two weeks before and after the surgery to get treatment. So, I rescheduled for Botox instead. The Botox treatment I had done two months prior showed no visible results. At my follow-up, a different nurse told me to wait longer for results and informed me that the nurse originally scheduled to do my lips was no longer there. No one called to inform me of this change, further demonstrating their disregard for my time and preferences.
I was scheduled for Botox to use up the $300 they were holding, only to be told on the day of the appointment (instead of calling me ahead of time) that they couldn't do the treatment because I was still within the three-month window. With just a few weeks left before my move, I requested a refund since nothing seemed to be lining up and they were unable to provide any treatment. They said the manager would call me the next day. That was on May 30th (never called). Today, June 6th, after recovering from my mouth surgery, I called to ask for an update and was told they are not willing to give me my money back. Instead, they offered products I have never used or cared about or a gift card to be used at a later date. I'M MOVING OUT OF STATE, and they have known this for months!
I am fully aware of what I signed up for and am not complaining about the terms. My complaint is about the way I have been treated as a client. If they had addressed my fully communicated circumstances months prior, I could have made an informed choice that felt good to me. Now, I feel jerked around, uncared for, uncomfortable, and, just two days away from moving, I have to go down there to pick out products I don’t want. Perhaps they could have taken the time to inform me about their product offerings months ago, so I might have found something I wanted. Their lack of communication and care for my unforeseen medical condition and life situation is appalling.

Read moreThis was my first time going to Allure Medspa for Botox treatment. Everyone here including the front desk women are all very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and kind. My initial appointment was with April, she treated my forehead and 11’s, she suggested 50 units of Botox for these areas. (This is a pretty high dose for these areas, which I found out later) For my 2 week follow up I saw Lesli she treated my crows feet and had to add 1 unit of Botox above my left brow as there was still movement which left me looking like The Rock, with 1 eyebrow up and the other down. 😭 It’s now been about 3/4 weeks from my initial appointment with April and I am very disappointed with the result of my forehead and eyebrows. My eyebrows are dropping leaving my upper eyelids looking very heavy and hooded. I have now done a 2nd follow up and saw Leslie as April wasn’t in the office. I expressed my displeasure and concerns. Leslie advised there wasn’t anything we could do at this point as it would just leave me looking worse. I’ll just have to wait the full 3 months for the effects to wear off. In the meantime I’m left looking tired and with unusual facial movement because of the way April treated my forehead and overdosed these areas. I’m NOT happy. I feel embarrassed showing this face to the world right now. Leslie and the office supervisor told me they would let the spa manager know as all they could for me is apologize for the results I’m left with. They would have the manager give me a call to discuss what to do from this point. They said they weren’t sure if they could possibly give a discount on my next treatment however, I advised them that I would not feel comfortable coming back in the future for any other treatments and was hoping for a return on some of my money as I paid nearly $700 for these awful results. I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the level of care provided by the entire staff at Allure Medspa. They consistently checked in with me during the procedure to ensure I was comfortable. I also appreciated the post-treatment care and advice provided. The technician took the time to explain proper aftercare procedures and offered personalized recommendations to optimize the results of the treatment. They genuinely cared that I achieved the best possible outcome.
