Daily Donut — Restaurant in Avondale

Our family’s first time there was this morning. Purchased the dozen box for $8.49, but this was not the final total once it was time to pay. There were 7 donut mark-ups of $.75 each. We were not informed that 7 of the donuts we chose from the minimal selection were .75cents/each addition. Needless to say, our grand total reached almost $15 for a dozen. RIDICULOUS! For that price, we will go to Fracture Prunes for gourmet donuts! And customer service leaves much to be desired. Quality and taste of the donuts are not anything to write home about. Lesson learned. This place, simply put, is AWFUL!! Went here because it was on my way to work and was met with 2 rude women behind the counter. I placed my order and asked for coffee she told me that it was self serve and to get it myself. I tried to pay and she told me to get my coffee first and then pay so that I wouldn't "interrupt her"....WTH...interrupt HER??? I'm​ the freaking customer!!! I won't be going back, needless to say!! Great find. If you get time, stop in and try everything. This place will amaze you. The donuts are fresh and delicious. Whether or not you have a favorite or looking to try something new, they've got it all. The customer service is beyond great.
